Location description from owner

The Dalmatia region

Voted one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world and praised by renowned international publications, the island of Hvar, on Croatia's Mediterranean coast, has been known for the healing qualities of its pure air and crystal clear sea since ancient Greek times. In the heart of Europe, Hvar's uniquely sunny microclimate, unspoiled landscape, and rich cultural heritage made it one of the first tourist resorts in the Adriatic.

Whispered to be the new St. Tropez, Hvar has climbed its way to international recognition without effort. Effortlessly ranked as Croatia's trendiest summer destination, Hvar became an ultimate must-be spot on a travel map for demanding international travelers looking for an authentic Mediterranean experience scented with glamour.

Sveta Nedjelja

Sveta Nedjelja is a village situated just below the highest peak on the island, Sveti Nikola (626 m). It is located 12 km east from the city of Hvar. The coast between Sveta Nedjelja and Zavala (10 km west of Sveta Nedjelja) has several little coves with wonderful fine pebble beaches where you can find some privacy. There is also a beautiful beach located in the town itself that is very popular.

Sveta Nedjelja is especially known by its wines which have the reputation of being the best wines of the island of Hvar, particularly the Plavac red wine. Sveta Nedjelja is also a very popular free-climbing destination. There is a small market in the village and several restaurants that serve local dishes and excellent vines.
