Set in the Baan Thai Surin Hill private estate with fantastic sea and sunset views, the four-bedroomed Baan Surin Sawan pool villa is ideal for families, couples or small groups seeking a relaxing tropical escape. The villa’s Thai-style pavilions are set over two levels on a lush hillside, offering superb views from nearly every room.
The upper level pool terrace is the villa’s focal point, with plenty of sunny and shaded lounging space, a 10m infinity pool with a swim-up bar, plus a poolside sala (gazebo) furnished with plush sofas and sunbeds. The villa’s main gathering areas – the living room, dining room and kitchen – open onto this terrace. A stylish entertainment room with an adjacent pantry is set on the villa’s lower level. The master bedroom and two guest bedrooms are each elaborately appointed with king-sized beds, jacuzzi bathtubs in their ensuite bathrooms, and design flourishes that reflect the owners’ extensive travels. Next to the master suite is a smaller, queen-bedded room which, with its granite counter top and desk, also makes a peaceful study area. Stone steps lead from this room to the small rear garden, complete with a dining sala and barbecue in tropical surrounds.
Baan Surin Sawan is professionally managed and staffed by a villa manager, housekeepers and a Thai chef, who is on hand all day to prepare delicious meals in the villa kitchen. Breakfast is included, while other provisions (plus a small service fee) are charged to guest account. The villa manager will assist with all aspects of your stay plus any transport or travel arrangements.
Only 500m from Surin Beach, Baan Surin Sawan is ideally located to enjoy the best of Phuket’s tropical island life. Aside from its powder-soft sands, Surin is home to some of the island’s prime dining spots, beach clubs, boutiques and spas, while a range of water sports, golf and family-friendly activities may be found at Bang Tao and Kamala beaches nearby.

The Phuket region
Phuket is internationally recognised as one of Asia's premier tropical island destinations. The island welcomes four million plus visitors per year to an exceptional international lifestyle, stunning beaches with tranquil waters, vibrant towns and spectacular scenery – all with an exquisite tropical climate and world-class cuisine.
Located approximately one hour's flying time from Bangkok and only a short flight from Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong, the island is serviced by an international airport with direct flights to and from many major cities in Asia, Europe and Australia. The island offers an impressive portfolio of leisure and lifestyle amenities including world-class golf courses, wonderful seascapes for sailing, diving and snorkelling as well as luxurious spas, international cuisine, high-end shopping complexes, chic boutiques, vibrant bars and lively nightclubs. The infrastructure includes excellent international hospitals and health services.
Surin has a picturesque coastal village feel that exudes an air of luxury. It is considered by many to be the playground of Phuket's elite, with swanky resorts and stylish chic eateries, shops and galleries. Wedged between Kamala and Bang Tao, Surin also boasts one of the loveliest beaches in Phuket lined with casuarinas and enhanced by the fact that many of the hotels are set back, making it less intense than many of the west coast beaches. This beautiful white swathe of sandy beach is lined with beach clubs and cafes, and is popular with swimmers, snorkelers and kayakers.
In the hills behind Surin a whole series of exotic upmarket villa estates have sprung up in recent years following in the footsteps of the first of the Aman resorts born in the neighbourhood and more recently the very contemporary TwinPalms Resort famous for its Champagne brunches and innovative spa treatments. Upmarket shopping includes The Plaza at Surin, with French restaurant and bar, Opus One, on the top floor. A ten-minute drive to the south takes you to Kamala, a small bay area known for its relaxed feel and slower pace of life whilst Bang Tao Beach, home to Laguna Phuket, the Laguna Phuket Golf Course and the world renowned Banyan Tree Spa, is a little further north.
Patong is a 20-minute drive south (depending on the season) and offers some of Phuket's world famous nightlife and 'knock off' goods markets. The much larger shopping malls and supermarkets of Central Festival and Big C are 30-minutes drive away on the bypass road. About a 30-minute drive to the north of Surin is Phuket's international airport.
