Welcome to our newly refurbished one bedroom ground floor apartment in the popular Golden View Condos in Sunset Crest, St James on the world famous Platinum Coast of Barbados.

The apartment was refurbished and redecorated in September 2014 and now includes a luxury bathroom, brand new kitchen worktop & appliances, and a new air con unit (coin operated) in the bedroom. The apartment has been furnished in a modern and luxurious style.

The spacious (750 sq ft) apartment consists of an open plan living and dining room, a separate fully fitted kitchen, a separate bedroom with king size bed, a walk in wardrobe (with key operated safe), and a luxury bathroom with walk in shower. All rooms have ceiling fans and there is also air con in the bedroom. Outside there is a private covered 17ft terrace furnished with two Adirondack chairs and a fully cushioned love seat. As we benefit from being on the ground floor, the terrace leads directly out onto the beautiful tropical gardens

As there are no stairs/steps to negotiate our apartment is suitable for wheelchair users and/or those with limited mobility.

Apartment facilities include bed linen, bath towels, beach towels & mats, hairdryer, cable TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, pre paid secure WiFi in the actual apartment, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances/crockery/utensils etc, iron/ironing board, free local telephone calls. Maid service/change of bed linen/towels etc, is provided once per week, however, additional visits are available on request for a small fee. All rentals will enjoy the services of our professional Property Manager who will be at your disposal 24 hours a day during your stay to deal with any queries, problems or emergencies you encounter while in Barbados. Please note this is a strictly NO SMOKING apartment.

The apartment is only a 5/10 minute stroll from the centre of Holetown where you'll find beautiful beaches offering water sports; the West Coast Mall with its well-stocked supermarket along with other shops, pharmacies, banks and restaurants; a 24 hr state of the art Medical Centre; the Chattel Village with its unique shops; duty free shopping is available at the Sunset Crest Mall, a wide choice of world famous bars and restaurants (with prices to suit all budgets); and also the Lime Grove Life Style Centre with its luxury brands, bars, restaurants and air conditioned cinema. Golf is available at Sandy Lane (walking distance) and at Royal Westmoreland (a few minutes drive away).

Tennis is also available at Sugar Hill (a few minutes drive away).

Car hire is not necessary due to the excellent location of our apartment. There is a very good public bus service where $1USD will take you wherever you want to go on the island, an abundance of taxis are available in Holetown, and there's even a free shuttle bus from the West Coast Mall to/from Golden View.

“Peace, beauty, comfort and complete relaxation”

This was my first visit to Barbados as a solo traveller and I spent a lot of time researching and choosing where to stay. In the end I made the perfect choice with this apartment. This established complex is in an affluent residential area only a 5 minute walk to the lovely beaches, the supermarket, banks, shops, restaurants etc. Being on my own I always felt safe in the local area and in the apartment/complex. This apartment is on the ground floor and you walk straight out from the terrace into the wonderful gardens and to the pool. The apartment has been fully renovated and is modern and bright. The owner has thought of everything and it's a real home in the sun. Apartment 125 is kept very clean and the property manager is available to help with any type of problem including arranging an appointment with a local dentist when my filling fell out! I have recommended apartment to my friends and family and I hope to stay there again very soon.

We've been going to Barbados for many years staying on both the south and the west coast of the Island, but following our stay in apartment 125 this will be our first choice from now on. This great ground floor apartment provided everything we could need/want for a relaxing holiday. Being on the ground floor, the terrace leads you straight into a beautiful tropical garden with a very large pool. Claire the owner has thought of everything. The apartment is newly fitted out with quality fittings and appliances. Although there is free Wi-Fi in public areas we opted to make use of the pay as you go Wi-Fi inside the apartment which was fast/reliable and good value for money. The west coast has terrific beaches which are only a five/ten minute walk from the complex. The main shopping area in Holetown has a great selection of outlets. We did have a hire car for the fortnight but to be honest we didn't really need it because everything was so handy. The area has a great selection of eateries and bars. Our favourite spot was the Drift Lounge, a smart cocktail bar overlooking the ocean at the bottom of the road, it was a great place to watch the sun go down. We will definitely be back to apartment 125.
