Get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city life and head into the

Eastatoe River Valley. Just minutes from Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee, this is a gem of a river house tucked away at the end of the road. The home sits on 1.8 acres and has over 500ft of river frontage for the fly fisherman in you. The house was built in the early 2000's and has hardwood floors throughout and 10 ft ceilings with ceiling fans in each room and on the screened front porch. The full bath has a tub/shower and tile floor with one sink. The hiking or cycling is fantastic all around the property. You can go car hiking also on Horsepasture rd at the Laurel Valley Trailhead to some amazing views of Pisgah Naional Forest and the Greenville Watershed.

We see deer and turkey on a regular basis with the occasional black bear. There are two horses kept in the pasture just across the river from the home also which are nice to see grazing. The fishing is stocked throughout the season with the dates listed on the DNR site. over 50,000 acres of DNR protested property surround this home and the valley. Truly one of the most beautiful places in SC I have been! Enjoy spending time on the front porch in the evenings with all of the sounds of the forest and the river. I fall asleep there often. You can rent a pontune or speed boat at the marina for a day on the lake or rent kayaks and paddle lake Jocassee where you can paddle behind waterfalls that pour out into the lake! Don't miss this getaway. Email and texting work great from the house for work purposes but streaming is patchy. Great place for a no tech weekend! At night, you never knew there were so many stars in the sky.
