Romantic cottage in totally renovated house on edge of the Morvan, 35km from Beaune. Peaceful hamlet surrounded by forests and hiking/riding tracks. A very special place offering charm, tradition and country chic. Ground floor: living room with lounge & dining area (stove, TV, sofa bed, DVD player, books, games, fitted kitchen, shower room/WC. 1st floor: bedroom (double bed). Sheltered terrace overlooking private, fenced 'cottage' garden. Firewood and electricity included in rent. Completely renovated but with the old features such as fire place and beams left in its old glory.The house has a perfect location to make trips in the neighbourhood. All interesting places are within reach.All famous winemakers are in the vicinity and michelin star restaurants as well. There is a special path to discover the wine castles by bike ! Bikes can also be rented in the villages (or bring your own!)The TGV train station is 45 km away wich makes it possible to make a daytrip to Paris

Sully le Chateau

After Leaving the Route du Soleil; exit Beaune and the road takes you in the direction of Autun passing the famous wine villages Pommard and Auxey Duresses. After 25 minutes you will reach the very charming and peaceful cottage in the countryside. Around the house you can make endless walks in the hills and if you take your bikes; you can cycle !At walking distance you will find the Château de Sully; a castle built in 1600 and open for visitors. You walk through the castle where a landlord still lives ! About 10 minutes from the house is a small supermarket located and Autun is about half an hour drive. There you will find museums, all shops and supermarkets as well as many restaurants.Visiting Beaune is a absolute must; with the market on Saturdays; the famous ' Hospice de Beaune' and several restaurants with Michelin stars.Between Beaune and your cottage you will find an extensive range of winevillages; winemakers and wine castles for tours and you will be able to buy the wine ' at the source' .Every weekend there are many fleamarkets in the area where you can find lots of antiques and brocante !
