From the owner

A lovely newly built house by the sea in Sweden for rent! A lovely view overlooking small islands, with close proximity to the waterline and beaches. Only a 10 mins drive from the Norwegian border and Nordby shopping mall with over 100 shops. The lovely town of Strömstad is only a 15 mins drive to the south, with ferrylinks to both the Koster isles and Sandefjord in Norway. The two story house has a large terrace, with an outdoor hot tub for children and grill (gas). Situated a bit up a hill with no neighboring properties on two of its sides, it has a very easy access to the hillside with splendid views and beautiful hiking grounds. There are two camping sites 400/600 m away, with a small shop and minigolf. Dynekilen golf course is within a 10 mins drive. There are 4 very nice beaches close by (300-600 m), ideal for children with shallow and calm water.

Driveway to the front door, with a modern interior and open roof solution on the 2nd floor. 2 bathrooms with showers, ventilation, fireplace, 2 TV-sets, washing machine. 4 separate bedrooms.

The coast of Bohuslän was ranked no. 7 of 10 of the world's last great wilderness areas by CNN Travel on the 6th of March 2013. The stretch of coastline extends to the border with Norway and is dotted with an archipelago of some 8000 islands and islets.

Why can't I call Thomas (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Thomas (the owner) a message.

If Thomas (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
