From the owner

Shakespeare View is a modern, newly decorated, spacious property situated in Guild Street, in the heart of Stratford upon Avon.

It boasts fantastic views of the historic Shakespeare gardens and Shakespeare’s birthplace which can be enjoyed from all the front windows in the house.

The house has undergone a thorough redecoration with two new bathrooms fitted, a brand new kitchen and all rooms painted in beautiful contemporary colours which coupled with high ceilings create an atmosphere of a European town house.

On the ground floor a spacious entrance hallway provides access to the lounge on the right, a toilet to the left and the kitchen and dining room at the far end of the corridor.

The kitchen in Shakespeare View is equipped with a brand new Zanussi fridge freezer, AEG oven with gas hob and a washing machine. There is a toaster and a kettle as well as a generous supply of kitchen utensils, dinnerware and pots and pans. Beautiful Laura Ashley décor and oak table tops and furniture create a relaxing interior perfect for dining for up to six people. It also lends itself as a quiet working space. The glass door in the dining room/kitchen provides access to a cosy patio sheltered with wooden panels and covered with an abundance of climbers.

The lounge offers seating spaces for up to six people with a double leather sofa, sofa bed and two chairs. There is a TV and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. It also has a built in under-stairs cupboard with plenty of space for your luggage and coats.

From the lounge a spacious staircase leads to the first floor. There are two double bedrooms: a small and a large one on the first floor – both looking out onto the Shakespeare gardens and Shakespeare’s birthplace. The first bedroom has a king size bed, chest of drawers and two bedside tables. It has a bathroom with a shower situated just across the landing.

The second, larger en suite bedroom has a single wardrobe, chest of drawers and a king size bed with bedside tables next to it. The en suite bathroom is approached by a short flight of stairs and has a bath and a shower.

The newly fitted double glazing front windows maximize the experience of the historic neighbourhood providing the house with warmth and suppressing outside noise.

A visitor parking permit is available on request - the allocated parking zone is situated just round the corner.
