“Juliet stole our heart”
ABSOLUTELY perfect. I can't recommned this cottage enough! Close to all local amenities but tucked away for privacy. Jane was on hand if we needed anything, and gave perfect instructions for the easy to use hot tub. Central heating made sure the cottage stayed cosy, and plenty of guides provided to make sure you get the most out of beautiful Stratford. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, can't wait to visit again!
“Great little getaway”
Really good weekend even tho the weather wasn't great there was still plenty to do in the town and when you've had enough of that it's great to come back to the cottage which has everything you need it was nice quite and peaceful out the way of everything great for who ever you're going with would recommend.
“Lovely Cottage”
I found the cottage and hot tub very clean and really enjoyed the stay. The booking system was very easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The area around the cottage was very pretty and peaceful.
“Outstanding property with outstanding service!”
We booked the Juliet cottage for an overnight getaway. It exceeded all expectations. The host Antonia was available to answer my questions whenever I needed her. She went beyond the call of duty. The cottage itself was set in a private idealic location with beautiful views and had a very homely feel. The hot tub topped it off, a great touch. I would recommend this to anyone. We enjoyed it that much we are planning our next stay in the next few weeks! Great job guys!
“Great surprise!”
In August we had a great time at the Juliet Cottage in Stratford upon Avon. What a find… We have stayed in several cottages in the past but this is the most lovely cottage holiday we could have hoped for. I decided to take my girlfriend and our daughter away as a surprise as we had not planned a summer holiday. Antonia done all the booking without my girlfriend knowing. We set off I had told her we were just going for a couple of days away. We packed our bags and I could not wait take my family to the cottage. It was so lovely, just what we needed for a family holiday. We found it really simple. Directions were good. It is located with a few other little cottages, really quaint and great views. My girlfriend and daughter were so pleased with my surprise, when we got there even though it is self-catering there was a welcome pack left in the cupboards of all the general bits you need, plus toilet rolls etc. The cottage had a good layout with nice furniture, nice to relax, cosy in the evenings. Outside table & chairs with really nice views, there are several fields that belong to the cottage so my daughter & I played lots of games, she wore her wellies all the time, all that fresh air was really nice, went into Stratford upon Avon in the day only a short drive, lots of Morris dancers, we went rowing on the river. Went to Warwick castle which was good. In the evenings after our hectic day we could not wait to take it easy in the cottage, we even sat and watched the sun set. I got brownie points off my girlfriend for this surprise holiday, I was so glad it was such a lovely cottage. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean, , really nice comfy bedding and the owners where so helpful. My little girl has gone on & on & on & on about our holiday. We loved this cottage and we would love to return in the future.
“disappointing”
We have stayed in a few holiday cottages now and this one by far has been the most expensive and disappointing. The property was not ready on time, The views were only visable from the velux windows which were filthy, Bathroom mirror had screw missing so would fall apart if used, The shower door had dropped so badly (possibly fitted upside down if going by the badge) making it very difficult to close, Upstairs french doors badly fitted/adjusted therefore letting in wind and the noise from the nearby fast road, No storage at all in the second bedroom, On the Monday morning there was no water (owner never explained why), Hairs over the main bed, The fridge door poor, this just down to the fact that it was a cheap appliance as were the rest. The remote controls had flat batteries and the dvd one was all rusted so wouldn't of worked anyway. The Property also had no recycling facilities. On the Monday evening we all went out for a walk to see what was around and only found a travelling/gypsy site and after watching a few of them in vans fly tipping up the road we decided to pop back to the cottage. When we arrived back home again we noticed that we had left a number of designer clothes in one of the drawers possibly due to the eagerness to get home, We contacted the owner to see if we could arrange paying for postage to get them sent back but she was less than helpful and this never happened. After reading all the cottage reviews before we booked, we feel that we have been misled and I guess all further visitors will be the same as we are pretty sure this review wont be posted on-line
