The position just couldn't be any better, situated a mile outside Stratford upon Avon, this contemporary centrally heated, double glazed, luxury lodge has everything you could possibly desire in a holiday destination. With a large south facing furnished glass balcony, right on the banks of the River Avon. This glass balcony wraps itself around the Lodge and is complete with a gated access for security.

The lodge is furnished and maintained to the highest standard and the rental includes clean bed linen and towels, gas and electricity.

There is a large open plan lounge dining area, with 2 x 2 double patio doors leading onto the river front balcony. With a double seated leather chesterfield & 2 large comfy leather bean bags, a wall mounted free-view TV, fireplace with an electric coal effect fire, and occasional tables with table lamps for that homely feel. The dining area has a large oak table with seating for 4. There is a breakfast bar, separating the kitchen from the lounge.

The kitchen is fully fitted with an American Style fridge freezer, built in ice maker, a dishwasher, range style hob and full sized double oven and a microwave, toaster and Lavazza Mio coffee machine and kettle.

There are 2 bedrooms. The master has a king size bed, bedside tables with table lamps, a wall mounted smart TV, ample storage with walk in wardrobe, dressing table and a modern en suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables, a table lamp, and ample storage plus wall mounted TV. In addition there is a modern family bathroom with a shower over.

There is a full size Utility Room with a sink, cupboards and a washer/drier machine.

All areas are carpeted except the bathrooms, utility, kitchen and dining area. Throughout the property is a built in radio system.

All guests have access to the on site Riverside Clubhouse, which is the largest elevated building in Europe. The Clubhouse has bars and Restaurants; there is entertainment at the weekend, and there is a large balcony over looking the river. For children there is a safe enclosed play area, and mini golf. Throughout the season there is archery and canoeing tuition.The site also offers a river taxi to take you into Stratford Marina, right in the heart of Stratford.

Also on site is a Bowling Green, 1 and half miles of free Fishing and a Laundrette.

Avon Park is located off the Warwick Road, opposite the Welcombe Hotel with it's excellent golf course.

“Peaceful. Tranquil. All you could need for a perfect stay”

This lodge was absolutely perfect for our 3 night stay. It was light, bright, clean, spacious and was perfectly placed for Stratford upon Avon town centre and is set within a clean and quiet park. The river taxi into town was lovely and was one of our favourite parts of our trip but if you wanted to walk it takes about 20 minutes. The views from the lodge were stunning and made for a very relaxing stay. The lodge itself is very spacious and has comfortable seating. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of additional condiments. It’s very clean and tidy and has a great selection of tv and movies if the weather isn’t up to much. We will definitely be coming back.

Stratford-upon-Avon is two minute away, you can drive there or go by boat, it gives you the view of the river Avon .

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Andrew (the owner) a message.

If Andrew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
