Description

There are two structures on the property that can house 12 people or more. The main one, known as the Villa has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, two living rooms, a dining room and an elevator. There are two fireplaces, each with reclaimed wood and terracotta tiles. The oven, located at the heart of the house, was once used to cook bread for the town. It has been fully restored to cook excellent pizza or crushed and is now part of a kitchen with modern, high-tech, restaurant-quality Viking appliances that include a steam oven. There is floor heating under the reclaimed tiles.

The second, smaller structure is the main structure's barn. This is a two-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment with its own kitchen, dining room and living room. The bedrooms have impressive views of the sprawling valley and its proximity to the property's lake allows for the symphony of frogs to be a nice lullaby. It has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the garden and open up to its own terrace with a spacious dining table.

Le Argille's 16-acre property includes a salt-water infinity pool (with a children's wading the shallow section), bathroom, jacuzzi pool and a cabana area. There is also a heart-shaped pond with lilies and lotuses, around which are Carrara marble sculptures are hand-made by artist Neil Lindsey, including mini ping pong table (we also have a normal sized one for adults). We make wine from our vineyards and olive oil from our olive trees 600. We have our own chickens, turkeys and a rooster we affectionately call Casanova. There is also an organic garden where we grow zucchini, artichokes, tomatoes, cabbage, onions and garlic among other manufactures. There are pear and fig trees from which we make jams. We also have sage, rosemary, mint and basel grown on the property, which is skirted by an old pine forest.
