The Cotswolds region

The Cotswolds are an area of outstanding Natural beauty. Easily accessed by car being only 20 miles from the M5 and less thana 2 hour drive from London.

This region also has a wonderful scenery, loads of walk paths for you to enjoy the best of nature. In the heart of England this rural countryside has so much to offer, you will always want to come back for an enjoyable and relaxing time.

Stow-on-the-Wold

There is no lack of Antique shops and tea rooms here in Stow-on-the-Wold! Cotswold cream teas are juxtaposed with independent high fashion and interior design.

Sited on the Roman Fosse Way, Stow boasts one of the finest market squares in the country and is the highest town in the Cotswolds. In Stow, the final skirmishes of the Civil war took place in 1646. With 17th and 18th Century architecture in honeyed mellow stone it is small wonder that the area is designated as being of natural outstanding beauty.

There are many walks and attractions in the area along with stately homes and gardens open to the public in the area. For those food buffs there are many restaurants and public houses within walking distance of Devon House Cottage.

"A well appointed cottage conveniently and quietly situated"

Situated in a secluded cluster of cottages off a quiet cul-de-sac, this well appointed cottage is deceptively only a five minute stroll from all the shops, cafes and amenities around the centre of Stow. The cottage is equipped with everything one could need for a self catering holiday. There is a dedicated car parking space oustside, though access to it is rather tight and a lot of reversing is involved, so it may be a challenge to the less experienced or those with a larger vehicle.

"he An excellent cottage with all the mod cons you need for a relaxing holiday"

From the outside the cottage was everything you would expect from a country cottage, but once inside, the cottage was decorated and laid out in a superior modern stlye. Everything you needed to make a very relaxing holiday was at hand. The onsuite in the main bedroom had a superb shower and having two bathrooms was great for getting ready in the mornings. The cottage is situated within walking distance of the beautiful village of Stow- On-The-Wold and within easy reach of many facilities.
