Location description from owner

The Cotswolds region

Teagles Cottage is located just two minutes walking distance from the main square in Stow-on-the-Wold where you will find wonderful antique shops and boutiques, art galleries, a selection of quaint tearooms and a fantastic choice of country pubs and excellent restaurants. Shops and bakeries selling a range of locally produced goods are in abundance.

Within a short drive from the cottage you can explore the picturesque towns and villages of Chipping Campden, The Slaughters, Broadway and Burford. There are many attractions in the local area, including Snowshill Manor and Lavender Farm, Sudeley Castle, the Cotswold Farm Park and Batsford Arboretum. Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon and the Roman City of Cirencester are a little further afield, but well worth a visit.

Please note that for one week in October and one week in May each year many of the amenities and pubs in Stow-on-the-Wold shut due to the Gypsy Horse Fair. If your chosen dates fall in either of these months, please feel free to call to discuss.

“What a fantastic place to stay!”

Reviewed 29 Feb 2016

We stayed for February half term week in this wonderful cottage. It has been refurbished to a really high standard and is so spacious. It is a real home from home and couldn't be better located, with an excellent pub opposite, and all the shops and more pubs/ restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. The log burner was amazing and made the cottage even cosier! We will definitely be back.

“Great cottage and location for anywhere in the Cotswolds”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2015

Tasteful contemporary decoration and furnishings. Spotless clean. Great little hidden away spot right in the centre of the village. With a sizeable supermarket within walking distance on periphery of village. Off road parking which is essential. Bourton on the Water and Moreton on the Marsh less than 10 mins away in car. Well equipped kitchen. Would go again!

“Very convenient”

Reviewed 14 May 2015

Great location, clean, spacious, came with all equipment. We have a 9 month old and the cottage had a high chair, a travel cot etc. Was a great place to stay and right by the shops too. Will defo go back. Couldn't recommend it more

“Wonderful relaxing Xmas at Teagles Cottage”

Reviewed 6 Jan 2015

This cottage is a delight - it is cosy, quaint, relaxing (the beds are so comfy) & an ideal place to stay over Xmas and any other time of year. It was perfect for us as a family with walks & bike rides available close by as well as shops, tea/coffee shops & fantastic welcoming pubs serving great food.

“Teagles is a fab place to stay for a holiday!”

House is very wel equipt, very clean and nice presented! It is in the heart of Stow on the Wold and shops, pubs and restaurants are near to the house. Private parking is available. We had a fab time!

“Super stay at Stow”

Reviewed 27 May 2014

The cottage was extremely well decorated and very spacious. The furniture and finishes were to a high standard. The cottage is located in walking distance of a variety of shops and amenities. The central location does mean however mean that outside space and parking are limited but that's a minor disadvantage. All in a all a super stay!

“Very well maintained cottage, right in the centre of Stow on the Wold”

Reviewed 21 May 2014

We stayed at Teagles cottage for a week from 25 april to 2 may, We had a very pleasant stay and felt very much at home when we returned after a days' siteseeing in the Cotswolds. We would certainly recommend the cottage to our friends. fam. Vos Purmerend The Netherlands
