The sitting room, with it sea views and open fire, is comfortable and stylish and leads to a small sun porch, ideal for sitting and watching the bird life or seals in the bay. The dining room, again with sea views, has a dining table, which comfortably seats six. In the dinning room there is also a sofa bed, which can be used as an overspill for two additional guests. The kitchen, with small breakfasting table, is well equipped and the bathroom has a shower over the roll top bath, ideal for a long soak, whilst upstairs the two generous sized bedrooms, one double & one twin, are bright with pretty decor. From Northend, a path leads down to the harbour and the shingle beach below and is only a few minutes walk. A short stroll along the cliff top path, (150 yards), will take guests to the Creel Inn, famous for its locally caught lobster and crab and selection of real ales. Catterline has long been associated with many artists who have been inspired by the dramatic seascapes and idyllic seclusion and guests to our wonderful Cottage will find it easy to see why. “stunning sea view”

Reviewed 9 Jul 2013

We , 2 German couples on a scotland trip, stayed 4 days at Northend Cottage. The surroundings are breathtaking and the sea view is unbeatable. The cottage itself has comfortable rooms, a well equipped kitchen and a cosy chminey. Close by one can find the Creel Inn, a perfect place for dinner. We enjoyed our stay very much.
