Michael's Port is a superbly converted barn allowing comfort and space for sharing families, couples and groups. Awarded 5* by Visit Britain it has all you require for your holiday. Its centrally located to the Jurassic Coast and the City of Exeter all within 30 minutes drive with the advantage of avoiding the hustle and bustle. Michael's Port is clean, easy to maintain and has been converted to a high standard. It is especially great for all generations to holiday together with its open plan living, all en-suite bath or shower rooms and is wheel chair accessible. The large kitchen and dinning area is at the heart of the property and retains many original features with high ceilings, stone work and lots of natural light. All bedrooms have either en-suite bathroom or shower room and all linen is provided. There is ample storage within the property with all bespoke and antique furniture.

The garden is overlooked by the kitchen and lounge where four patio doors open up making it perfect for alfresco dinning. There is parking for 4 cars which is off road and easy accessible to the property. Michael's Port is based at The Rising Sun Farm, the owners are your only neighbors and you are welcome to enjoy our large garden and collect eggs from our free range chickens. The Rising Sun Farm has not been a working farm for 25years. There is a welcome pack to get you started and plenty of tourists information and free WIFI.

The England region

The south west is a beautiful part of the world with many wonderful attractions and places to visit. Its landscape is superb and varied with rolling green fields (Black Down Hills), rustic coastline (North Devon, Branscombe) , dramatic moorland (Dartmoor) and quaint villages (Stockland, Dalwood)v and towns (Lyme Regis, Honiton) . The west counrty is a poular place to visit with a thriving tourism industry for all interests. There are many fun events in the spring and summer for example local family fete's 9Stockland Fair), festivals (Sidmouth Folk Festival) and shows (Axe Valley Flower festival) which are well worth a visit.

East Devon is a beautiful area with traditional sea side towns such as Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. There are plenty of coastal paths to explore with breath taking scenery. The are many family attractions such as Creally, Escot and the Donkey Sanctuary for all ages and interests. The area has many great towns and villages with quaint country pubs and restaurants for foodies to enjoy. East Devon has a laid back and warm atmosphere for visitors to the area.
