Michael's Port is located in The Blackdown Hills which is an area of Out Standing Natural Beauty. Michael's Port is a superbly converted barn allowing comfort and space for sharing families, couples and groups. Awarded 5* by Visit Britain it has all you require for your holiday. Its centrally located to the Jurassic Coast and the City of Exeter all within 30 minutes drive with the advantage of avoiding the hustle and bustle. Michael's Port is clean, easy to maintain and has been converted to a high standard. It is especially great for all generations to holiday together with its open plan living, all en-suite bath or shower rooms and is wheel chair accessible. The large kitchen and dinning area is at the heart of the property and retains many original features with high ceilings, stone work and lots of natural light. All bedrooms have either en-suite bathroom or shower room and all linen is provided. There is ample storage within the property with all bespoke and antique furniture. It has a separate utility and WC so plenty of room for your guests. The lounge is again light with high ceilings and patio doors with three large sofa's and plasma TV & DVD.The garden is enclosed & private with large lawn and patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. The garden is overlooked by the kitchen and lounge where four patio doors open up making it perfect for alfresco dinning. There is parking for 4 cars which is off road and easy accessible to the property. Michael's Port is based at The Rising Sun Farm, the owners are your only neighbors and you are welcome to enjoy our large garden. The Rising Sun Farm has not been a working farm for 25years. There is plenty of tourists information and free WIFI.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Wayne (the owner) a message.

If Wayne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
