“Great place to stay when visiting Stirling”

Before our stay, the owner responded promptly to my e-mail enquiries, in a friendly and helpful manner. On arrival, obtaining the apartment key was straightforward and everything was clean, well-appointed and in good order. The rooms are spacious, except for the bathroom, which is quite narrow but perfectly functional. The beds are SO comfortable (definitely the best bit). Tip: the water takes quite a long time to run hot through the pipework from wherever the boiler is. I thought I needed to switch something on to get hot water – but it did get hot eventually – patience! The apartment is located in a cul-de-sac so it is quiet at night, despite its proximity to the lively central area. The location is great for exploring Stirling. It is in the old part of the city, midway between the station and the castle (about 5 minutes’ walk), and is handy for Thistles shopping mall, bars and restaurants. Wetherspoons pub is nearby for a good Scottish breakfast – much easier than DIY! We had a very good experience at this apartment.
