New for 2013, this lodge was completed on 1st January 2013 measuring approximately 98 square meters,

The elegant open plan lounge and dining area is very spacious, airy and sophisticated.

An ultra modern kitchen which is fully equipped with everything needed to serve a full scale dinner party.

A beautiful place to entertain friends, family and loved ones whether it's for a luxury holiday, private exclusive party or a romantic break within a exquisite countryside location.

Featuring a 55 inch HD TV and Italian furniture.

The decor is very modern having high gloss furniture and is to a high standard.

This lodge has 5 bedrooms, 2 king size, 1 double and 2 twin rooms, 3 bathrooms one which is en-suite, The dinning table seats 10. Large decked area with unobstructed open views of the countryside toward the town of Stirling.

We are on a main bus route Train station 4 miles away taxi in the town approx £10

We have a small reception at the lodges, its open for guests checking in and out of the lodges. James our manager will greet the guests with the keys and instructions for each lodge. He will show the guests around including instructions for the hot tub. The hot tubs are all private to each lodge and situated next to them. They are in a smaller lodge for all weather use with patio doors. Open for 9am to 9pm. we close them al at 9pm for health and safety.

10 of us went over new year for 3 nights and it was one of the best new years I've had. Perfect location , not to far away from home for travelling. Absolutely spotless cabin , rooms, kitchen, lounge, and even the hot tub was a great extra. Everything was easy to work in the house kitchen wise and even all the local take away places delivered straight to the cabin door which was a bonus. Couldn't praise it more and the friendly owners were always on stand by if needed. Would 100% recommend to others, and we have even booked it up again already. Looking forward to visiting again and thats me speaking on behalf of all 10 people that stayed.

Had a fab time 60th birthday weekend, John & Mari are lovely & made us very welcome. We went to Stirling by taxi on the Saturday had a lovely meal then relaxed in hot tub before partying till 2am. The site was very busy but we didn't hear any noise from the other chalets.

We had a lovely break here. Mhairi was very helpful and friendly. Jacuzzi was a bonus. The cottage was very modern and comfy. Table lamps or a dimmer switch in the sitting room would be nice... but this is not a complaint, only a suggestion.

This has been the best weekend ever! I stayed here with my family and had a ball, the lodge was so well equipped with all you needed and was decorated to a high standard. The owners were great really kind and helpful. The hot tub was great:-) The lodge was amazingly clean and comfortable, A nice quiet location but only 10 mins from Stirling. I will be back next year!!!

Myself and 9 friends/family have just returned from my amazing hen do in the luxury 5 bed lodge. We had an fabulous weekend! The lodge was beautifully decorated and to a very high standard and was fully equipped with everything you could need for a break away. All bedrooms were gorgeous and beds extremely comfortable. We used the hot tub a couple of times over the weekend which was fab and such good fun! Overall the weekend was amazing and we had such a good time, I would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of booking. There's more than enough space for 10 adults to be comfortable. I will definitely return at some point in the future!!

“Super Stay in Scotland”

We booked La Fortuna lodges for a mid-September break with friends and had a three bedroom lodge which was in excellent condition and had all mod cons! The location just outside Stirling is brilliant for exploring the lochs to the west of Stirling or visits to Edinburgh which we enjoyed. In particular, the Royal Yacht Britannia visit was the most enjoyable. We also visited the Trossachs, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. Keys were waiting for us on arrival and owner John was there to bid us farewell and get some feedback on our stay. We would definitely return for another Scottish trip!

We stayed here for a family wedding in Aug 2013 and were very pleased with the standard of these lodges. They were spotlessly clean and very well finished inside. Cant recommend them enough. The owners live on site and were extremely friendly and helpful.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
