"I wish we had booked this apartment for more than 2 nights."
The location of this apartment could not have been better. It is conveniently located between Glasgow and Edinburgh in a street that had little traffic after the tourists went home. Being only a few hundred metres from the Wallace Monument it was easy to find and the walks through the grounds of the Monument were pleasant. The view of Stirling Castle from the bedroom window was a bonus. The apartment was surprisingly roomy and beautifully appointed with everything we needed and more. The hospitality of our host was exceptional from welcoming homemade shortbread to a willingness to answer all our queries and provide suggestions of places to visit. It was unfortunate that our stay coincided with a weekend as the nightly tarrif is more expensive. I just wish we had longer here. Thank you.
