“Cozy, comfortable and lovely location: Just what we needed for a short getaway”

Reviewed 26 Oct 2016

Karen made us feel very welcome and there was a bottle of wine with some bakewell slices waiting for us when we arrived . The chalet was warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a lovely, relaxing family weekend. We made a slap up brunch then walked into Doune and visited the castle then walked through the town, nature reserve and woods. We played board games while it rained away in the vening then visited Blair Drummond safari park 5 minutes away the next day. We will definitely come back. Really convenient for a short break away from home and lots to do nearby even if the weather is grim.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for this review. We are always really pleased to know that our guests have enjoyed themselves. I wish I could do something about the weather but alas... Welcome back anytime.!

“absolutely fabulous!!”
