Getting around

Car most definitely highly recommended.

Interaction with guest

The cottage is situated within the grounds of our home and only a short distance away. Whilst we are of course more than happy to afford privacy to our cottage guests we are almost always available if needed and generally have quite a bit of interaction. Of course if we can help in any way we are eager to do so.

“Good little cottage for exploring Kent.”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2016

Cottage was close to local shops and take-aways. It was also within walking distance to the train station. Cottage had everything we needed for our holiday but we do spend the vast majority of the daytime out and about. Owner very friendly and helpful.

Owner's reply: Thank-you kindly. Pleased that the cottage was satisfactory. If you have suggestions as to how it might be improved they would be most welcome.

“Great Cottage !!”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2016

We stayed here for six weeks and it was wonderful. Staplehurst is a great place to stay to get away from it all yet close to London with great transport links. John and Judy the owners went out of there way to help with anything needed. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends Thanks John and Judy for a great stay :)

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your glowing review. Pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Maybe see you again one day. Would be a pleasure again. Best, John
