“Wonderful relaxing stay”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2015

We were made to feel at home and enjoyed a relaxing weeks get together with family. Centre point was the kitchen where we all gathered most evenings to eat, drink and chill. The weather was even kind enough to allow us to sit outside and play Scopa or to read. When we wanted to eat out, there were restaurants within a short driving distance and the local Chinese take away benefitted from our custom as well. Our hostess provided some of the local produce from the garden (fresh eggs) and was also available for useful local advice Visits to Glamis Castle, the Discovery and the Falkirk Wheel went down well with the younger members of the family, and a drive round the Fife coastline allowed us to experience the variety of Scottish weather.
