Updated apartment with panoramic views off private deck with one bedroom, full bathroom, equipped kitchen, dining area and living room, and onsite guest parking. Nestled in northern Dutchess County, New York, we are a great base location for your memorable trip to the country. Guest access is up a flight of stairs where you are greeted with beautiful views of the Buttercup Audubon Sanctuary and adjoining properties. Open the door to a charming living room, dining room and kitchen area complete with appliances (and WiFi) and furnishings (some new, some refurbished from our local antique stores) to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.

There is a full bath with towels provided, just bring your own toiletries.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dresser, mirror and two nightstands. Linens and extra pillows are also provided.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck with a peaceful view of Buttercup Audubon Sanctuary - which is right next to our property. Take a short drive to one of the nearby towns to enjoy local wineries, restaurants, horseback riding, bike rentals and trails, seasonal events at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, or take at class at the Omega. Whether your pleasure is antiquing, horse trials, fall foliage, visiting family or friends in the area, attending special events at the Culinary, visiting Wing's castle, biking or just want to spend the weekend in the country - we hope you'll consider staying at Harley's Hideaway. Country stores, and excellent restaurants are nearby.

Unfortunately, more than two guests per reservation cannot be accommodated at this time.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stephanie (the owner) a message.

If Stephanie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
