Located in East Ruston this superbly positioned and comfortable end terrace cottage has stunning views of the lake which is only yards away and attracts a variety of birds, including Kingfishers, a variety of ducks and geese ideal for bird watchers.

A truly peaceful setting for the fishing enthusiast, fishing is free and there are 2 further lakes which are fenced with otter proof fencing these can be fished with our free day permits, these lakes are for the serious angler this is a top class general specimen lake with very large roach, rudd, perch and bream which run to double figures, large tench and carp. Children need to be supervised at all times as the lake is 8ft in depth. Beautiful sandy beaches are only 3 miles away and they go as far as the eye can see.

Step out of your holiday home early in the morning or at dusk and find a quiet spot beside the water and you may see an otter, these are only seen in the lake directly behind the cottage as the two other lakes

“Lovely cottage in superb setting”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks rental in this well positioned comfortable cottage. The attention to detail( e.g.fresh flowers on arrival) and the quality of the fixtures and fittings and kitchen equipment was excellent. The description of the cottage on the website perfectly describes it and the quietness of the cottage and grounds is perfectly relaxing.

Hi Colin Thank you so much for your lovely response I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at our cottage and hope to see you again. Regards Julie
