Saint-Saturnin-les-Apt

The village of St Saturnin-les-Apt has a population of just over 2000 people, many of whom live here throughout the year, making it more vibrant out of season than some of it's more touristy neighbours. It is a true Provencal village with lots of character. The skyline is dominated by a medieval ruined chateau and the 17th Century Windmill. Narrow streets, old stone houses, water fountains and a central square. There are bars, two hotels and restaurants. An excellent Charcuterie, two Boulangeries and a 'Spar' supermarket offer a wide variety of products and there is also a chemist, Post Office, cash machine and newsagent. The local co-operative Cave can be found in nearby Apt where you can buy your wine and associated gifts.

“Brilliant - as always!”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2016

We've now been Sue and Terry's guests at Les Collines five times, and we've always been impressed by the wonderful attention to detail in the gite itself, the immaculate care of the pool and its surroundings, and the warm welcome we receive from our hosts. There can be no better place to relax and/or enjoy the many attractions that the surrouding countryside has to offer. Long live thenew G&T area in the garden!
