From the owner

La Laiterie forms part of a traditional, Normandy farmhouse. This self catering gite is the perfect base for your holiday in Lower Normandy. Ideal for a short break away or if you want to spend a longer period exploring the area. Our gites are set in an acre of attractive grounds with an abundance of flowers and fruit. La Laiterie has it's own sheltered garden area where you can sit out and relax and picnic tables where you can enjoy a meal and a glass of local cider. The garden is a haven for a wide variety of birds in the Spring so bring your binoculars. If you like al fresco cooking there is a barbeque is available for you to use. We have a productive vegetable garden and delicious fresh produce in season is available for guests to buy.

Would your dog like a holiday too? We welcome pets and La Laiterie is ideal for dog owners however, please inform us prior to booking if you intend to bring a pet. . You will enjoy walking along the footpath which leads from the house and through the rolling countryside

Develop your creative talents by joining one of our Tuesday Art workshops. All abilities are welcome.

Children's Art mornings run on Wednesdays throughout July and August

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Alison (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
