Following the announcement by the government as from the 14th of September it will be illegal to meet and socialise with more than six people. Therefore for hopefully a temporary basis, we have restricted the occupancy on this property from 8 to 6.

The Whitehouse Cottage lies in the village of Great Paxton, just a short distance from the historic market town of St Neots. It provides a unique opportunity to enjoy a luxurious country break in the glorious Cambridgeshire countryside.

The Whitehouse Cottage is the ideal retreat, offering guests the opportunity to relax and unwind in this beautiful setting whilst still enjoying an excellent central location to St Neots, Huntingdon, Cambridge and London.

New for July 2020. Whitehouse Cottage has been re-decorated. We have upgraded the kitchen with new worktops, wall tiles and installed a Leisure 110 Range cooker. There is a large pantry to give extra storage. We also have a dedicated laundry room with Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Dishwasher and Samsung American Fridge Freezer with water and ice. There is a downstairs shower room just off from the laundry room. The lounge/dining area has been updated with a large pine table and chairs and corner sofa. All the bedrooms have new wooden beds with bedside cabinets, chest of draws and wardrobes. We have also replaced all the curtains with blinds. This is all to help with our COVID-19 cleaning policy.

The Whitehouse Cottage has been modernised and comprises four bedrooms with two en-suites and a family bathroom and a downstairs shower room. The property has been renovated to a high standard with all your home-from-home comforts.

There are two reception rooms one with french doors opening onto the front garden with table and chairs and BBQ and sun loungers. There is four-bedroom at the Whitehouse Cottage. Bedroom 1 is a Downstairs King en-suite room. Room 2 is an Upstairs King en-suite room. Room 3 is a King room and room 4 double. Bedroom 3 has the use of the family shower room upstairs and bedroom 4 has the use of the downstairs shower room. Therefore all rooms have their own dedicated bathroom.

The downstairs shower room is located just off of the laundry room downstairs. There are two lounge areas one with a pine table and chairs set out for eight. and a corner sofa. The other is located at the back of the house with French doors to the garden. There are a three-seater and two-seater leather sofa and also Flat-screen TV. Outside, there is a large courtyard for parking up to four cars. We have a lovely garden with plenty of seating, and there is a gas BBQ (we do ask it to be adequately cleaned after use) for guests to use.

Whitehouse cottage is on the left in the picture and is one of 3 properties around the large courtyard. A courtyard cottage which will sleep four in two en-suite rooms can also be booked as a self-catering cottage. We live on-site in The Whitehouse (centre of picture). We ask the cottage is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay. Parking for a max of 4 cars. Extra cleaning can be arranged during your stay.

Whitehouse Cottage is also fitted with FREE BT WIFI

For something different, we have teamed up with a private chef. Tony is a previous Master chef contestant who can cook for you and your friends. He can arrange a menu to suit your taste and budget. This can be arranged directly with Tony; please contact after you have booked for more information.

We also have onsite our very own Beauty Consultant. The Hive will make our guests relaxed and pampered. For more information about this, please contact us after you have booked

We have FREE wifi at the cottage. There is parking for up to four cars in the Courtyard and a great garden with outdoor seating and a gas BBQ. As you walk into the cottage you enter into the Lounge/Dining area with the kitchen to your left We do ask all guests to remove their shoes when entering the building and wash their hands There will be hand sanitizer as well. There is seating for eight around the farmhouse dining table and corner sofa with a TV on the wall. This leads through to the rear lounge with two sofas and french doors to the garden and tv on the wall. There are flat-screen Freeview TVs in all the rooms. We have one ground floor en-suite bedroom and three bedrooms upstairs.

Whitehouse Cottage has the potential for noise as we are located on the B1043 road from St Neots to Huntingdon. There is also the mainline London to Peterborough railway which runs alongside the road. We also have a gravel driveway to the side of the house so all these could potentially give rise to traffic noise. As we are a rural location there are no pathways to St Neots or Great Paxton.
