“Beautiful cottage, beautiful location,amazing hosts”

Reviewed 29 Oct 2016

After battling Friday Bristol traffic we arrived at cottage to be greeted by scones, clotted cream and jam left by the owners. The cottage was welcoming with log burner primed ready to go and spare logs also bedding, bowl, towels and a treat for our puppy! Mike the owner came to see if we arrived safe and recommended things to do that were kid and dog friendly. The cottage was spacious and clean with towels on beds fo all of us. There is a lovely area for children including trampoline. There is plenty of land to walk dogs whilst taking in beautiful scenery. The children loved owners pets which ranged from dogs to horses and goats( not forgetting the two most friendly sheep!!) we also met Kay ( owner) who was really friendly and always willing to help. There is a games room on farm which included pool table, dartboard and table tennis table which helped occupy kids!! It is within reasonable distance to various different parts of Cornwall and Devon but away from hustle and bustle... it's also close to various pubs that are dog friendly and 12 mins away from curry takeaway in liskeard which was amazing.. all round perfect break. Would recommend
