Location description from owner

The Province of Leinster region

The South East is the dryiest and sunnyiest region of Ireland steeped in History and folklore with something for all the family to help them enjoy their holiday .With 3 rivers flowing through and the best beaches in the land you are spoilt for choice .St Mullins sits in the middle of the region which makes all the major towns and attractions easily accasable. The Vikings and Normans were here before you and Cromwell who landed by the Hook and yes thats where" By hook or By crook" came from.Right beside us is the hook peninsula which has the Oldest working light house in the world ,there loads of wonderful gardens and historic sites within easy reach. The Norman towns of Kilkenny ,Wexford, Waterford, are 35 min away .The Dunbrody famine ship and the John f Kennedy homestead are in New Ross 15 Min down the road. St Mullins

"Never been Here ,You'll never forget it "Irish Times. St Mullins is deep in the Mystic Barrow Valley tucked away from the outside world in a land where time has stood still. The river Barrow flows by the front of the cottages as it makes its way down to the town of New Ross and on to the sea .The river is tidal up to the St Mullins lock so we have an ever changing mood where you can sit and dream or pop across to the Mullicháin Cafe for a homemade scone or a bubbling bowl of Marks leak and potato soup. You can cast your fishing line or walk up the river tow path towards the next village or borrow one of our bicycles.Beware this place takes a hold of you .
