Getting around

We recommend a car for this area. Boat trips can be taken to see the seabird colonies on the islands in the Forth. Visit Kellie Castle, just outside Anstruther, and while there, take in the cheese factory where you can see the cheese-making process and perhaps take home some of the produce. The conservation village of Falkland, with the fairytale palace so beloved of Mary, Queen of Scots is also well worth a visit. St Andrews & Crail Harbour are a must see, as perhaps is the Secret Bunker which was meant to be the Government's headquarters in Scotland in case of nuclear war. It is worth taking the time to explore some of neighbouring Perthshire, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs & Royal Deeside, which are all within an easy day's drive.

“Beautiful holiday house with harbour views”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2016

Beautiful holiday house in a lovely location. Very comfortable, a real "home from home" with everything you could possibly need. We hope to be back again next year!

Hi Sharon Many thanks for leaving a review of Harbour Heights. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, and that you loved the location and house. It is such a lovely part of Fife and we look forward to welcoming you back next year. TS Holiday Lets.

“Stunning house, stones throw from harbour with beautiful sea views.”

Reviewed 15 Oct 2013

My husband and I stayed here with good friends over the September weekend and it was a fantastic house for grown ups. Furnishings and decor were of a very high standard and there were lots of beautiful pieces of art to enjoy. The house was immaculate, comfortable and welcoming but not fussy. Husbands made the most of proximity to the harbour for early morning fishing, while my friend and I enjoyed coffee looking out to sea from the window seat in the first floor lounge. Within two minutes of walking through the door we were discussing making our trip an annual event. Only drawback One of the two double bedrooms was beautiful but accessed by steep stairs and did not have a door. However, there were two other, private bedrooms, and also bed settees available.

“Fabulous place!”
