Description

Spacious Apartment Speiereck will comfortably cater for up to eight people and is the largest of three apartments in Haus Bellevue.  The accommodation can be found on the first floor of the apartment house with own furnished balcony offering sunny, southerly views of the mountains.

The apartment is furnished like a home and comprises of a large living area including flat screen digital TV with USB, separate and well-equipped kitchen with large traditional corner dining area, a master bedroom with double bed and bunk beds, a second bedroom with double bed and two single beds, a main bathroom with shower, wash basin and WC, a second shower room and a second WC located in the entrance area.

Further facilities include a large garden with sun loungers and chairs, garden benches, a children's play area, use of a Kettle-BBQ, guest car park, ski room, on-site ski hire  Wifi is available for free throughout the property.  The hosts also offer a washing and drying service (clothes horse provided), an iron and board available upon request.  A cot and/or high chair can be provided at no additional cost. Use of the hosts lockable garage for the storage of bicycles and motorcycles can be granted by prior arrangement.

The Owners live on the premises and are happy to help with any/all aspects of your holiday - a warm welcome is guaranteed!

Haus Bellevue can be found in the outskirts of St Michael in the heart of the Lungau holiday region of Austria.  The location ensures a peaceful stay with a feeling of being away from it all, yet the position is close enough to all the amenities that a car is not necessary. Within 10 minutes walk the town centre of St Michael offers numerous wonderful Cafes, Bakeries, Supermarkets, Restaurants and Shops.

The accommodation is also very well positioned for easy access to 4 sizeable Ski Areas, a large network of Mountain Bike Trails and Cycle Routes, numerous Hiking and Walking paths, Swimming Pools, Golf, Sight Seeing Attractions - everything you could want from a holiday.

We support the LungauCard.  Every guest of Haus Bellevue between June and October will receive a personal holiday card for the duration of their stay.  The LungauCard entitles you to free or discounted admission to numerous excursion destinations, natural wonders, attractions, outdoor activities, museums, wellness centres, swimming pools, mountain lifts and much more throughout the Lungau.

The wonderful Lungau Valley provides the perfect place for vacation time, enjoying little in the way of mass tourism and promoting a wonderful friendly atmosphere throughout.

Getting around

The Lungau is very easy to navigate by all modes of transport. For convenience we recommend travelling by car. The valley is supportive with good parking places and decent roads. The A10 is the main motorway route out of the valley and connects the Lungau easily to the rest of Austria. If you would prefer not to travel by car, the public transport system in Austria is very reliable. Bus and train connections are available from all of the major airports and cities. Routes vary according to season. Within the valley you can expect more specific routes including specialised season plans such a free ski bus during the winter months.

Interaction with guest

As your hosts we are very willing and happy to help with all aspects of your vacation planning. We will be there to greet you when you arrive and will personally introduce you to your apartment and provide a good base of information to begin your vacation. As we live on site we are available throughout your stay and can offer advice and activity suggestions, or just a friendly face and a chat! Every guest had different needs to fulfil and above all else we respect your privacy and value our own. If you need us we will be there for you!

“A real good place for a nice holiday”

Again it was a pleasure to arrive in this pleasant house. We were here for the 3 time and it felt like coming home. The apartments we stayed were nice and comfortable. The Aineck apartment suited our family very well and after we our family expansion we stayed in the bigger top Speiereck apartment which was even more comfortable with 2 bathrooms and plenty of space for the kids to play and a very nice balcony with a view over the valley. We enjoyed Skiing in the Lungau valley a the lot. The pistes were very good prepared, with lots of variation and the sun was out there every day. We hope to see you next year for our Skiing Holiday.

In January this year we visited St. Michael im Lungau for the eighth time. Last seven years we stayed in the same apartment Speiereck, in the same house. As I wrote above, it speaks for all. I love this place, it is large spacious apartment with beautiful view from the main bedroom and from the living room. The living room is an unrivalled place where we can meet every evening and night with all of our friends occupying the remaining apartments in the house - everytimes we try to book "all the house" to have a fun and a good company. Everything is clean and tidy and we can see improvements every other year, because lovely owners of the house - Gary and Amanda - have been working on it hardly. In the kitchen, evyrything necessary is available. I just have one exception while glorifying the apartment - it is owl-light or lack of good light in all rooms and in the downstairs toilet it is very cold, but it is completely new, so may be it will be heated later on. Otherwice, everything is perfect, including perfect access to the house and perfect skiing - it should be stressed! Me and my family, all we are very happy we found such a nice place for our winter holidays.

We had a superb stay at Haus Bellevue, Gary and Amanda made us feel welcome and comfortable for the entire stay. With easy access to all the Lungau valley slopes and shops, this is an amazingly relaxing and beautiful place to stay. Speireck apartment is large, clean and comfortable with loads of room to hang out in the evening, perfect for a family or a group of friends. Being 10 minutes walk to sleepy St Michael, it is not for you if you want a party town atmosphere but great for a nice meal out in the evening. But if you have a car and want to explore Lungau Valley then this is the perfect quiet relaxing base.

Spent Christmas at Haus Bellevue and had the best Christmas ever. Travelled with the extended family for a week of skiing in the Lungau valley, and didn't want to leave at the end of it. Accommodation is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and is well equipped with all you would ever think to need on a week away from home, even to prepare Christmas dinner! Hosts Amanda and Gary were very welcoming, and were full of information for us on where to ski, eat, visit etc. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All in all we'd definitely recommend the accommodation and are hoping to return soon and ski the areas we didn't get too.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Amanda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
