NEW for 2019 - FREE dedicated WiFi for our guests

Kamileon Lodge now has a feature to enhance anybody's stay at any time of the year. Our guests can now relax in our Hot Tub from the world-renowned manufacturers Jacuzzi. This 6-person hot tub has proved to be a real hit and is secluded from the other properties and available exclusively for the use of our guests.

As this is a private family owned lodge we will ask in advance of your stay for all guests to sign a disclaimer regarding the use of the hot tub. Guests will be required to test and treat the water daily during their stay to ensure it is suitable for bathing. Easy to use instructions are available for this within the lodge or can be requested in advance of your stay if preferred.

Other improvements this year are that the Lodge has been fully redecorated throughout with new sofas and dining furniture; the Conservatory bar has updated facilities; catering and evening entertainment available during peak weeks; a Sunday carvery is now available; separate Sports Bar showing all the years outstanding sporting fixtures.

Our lodge is equipped to a high standard with everything you could possibly require during your holiday break.

Atlantic Bays Holiday Park's facilities include a reception area, shop, children's play area, launderette, conservatory bar with games room and is ideal for families.

The site is within easy reach of St Merryn Village & Padstow and ideally located for the 7 beaches renowned for this area (Trevone, Harlyn, Mother Ivy’s, Booby’s, Constantine, Treyarnon and Porthcothan).

A real ‘home from home’ family owned lodge.

With three bedrooms the lodge sleeps 8. Bedroom 1 - Double en suite; Bedroom 2 - Double; Bedroom 3 - Bunk Beds (please note these beds are 5' x 2'6" so SMALLER than standard); Lounge area - Double sofa bed available.

Getting around

The best way to get around the area is by car. There are bus routes that pass through the village of St Merryn from Newquay and Padstow although these are not regular routes daily. Rail connections are either from Bodmin Parkway (GWR and Cross Country services) or Newquay. The site can be reached by taxi or bus from both stations but the site is not on a regular bus route. Newquay airport is the closest airport regionally with services flying in from UK airports, Ireland & major EU links via London Gatwick. Exeter airport is a little further away and is a car hire journey from the site but offers more air links than Newquay.

Interaction with guest

We will take a security holding deposit to secure your booking. Rental payment then due 6 weeks prior to your stay (deposit refunded after you vacate the property and it has been checked). The day before your stay you will be sent access details as listed on your booking form. Any problem during your stay then the site reception is your first point of call but you will also have the owners contact numbers if required.

“Easter holidays”

There are 5 of us in the lodge. The lodge is fab. And the hot tub is brilliant first thing in the morning and the last thing at the end of a long day on the beach. Will be booking again for next year.

We stayed at N.6 for a long weekend. I have to say it was lovely, more than I was expecting. It was really clean and very warm. Well equipped, having everything we needed. The lodge is on a nice looking site, which appeared to be well looked after. Ideally situated close to various beautiful beaches and Padstow which was lovely to look around. Truro was only a 40 min drive, a lovely little town with some nice shops. We will def stay at this lodge again. Thank you to the owners, we had a really relaxing weekend away.

After looking at several lodges in the area we settled on this one. How glad were we that we did. Perfect base for our trip down memory lane Beautifully appointed Lodge with plenty of space , only two of us but may bring the grandchildren next time, The ease of booking and information given was a bonus Have to say we think this lodge is in the best position on the park making it private and the views every morning over rolling fields at sunrise were fabulous We didn't really use any facilities on site but thy were there if we wanted. Local restaurants a plenty, many beaches to choose from and a drawer full of ideas and leaflets most useful Its been 20 years since we visited Cornwall but wont be another 20 and this will be our first choice to stay if we can book it.

We have just returned from a lovely week long stay at this lodge and couldn't have asked for more! We took lots of things with us that we thought we would need, but needn't have bothered...the lodge was fully equipped with everything (and more) that we had at home! Fridge, washing machine, microwave, tvs in the bedrooms, even cleaning materials and kitchen towel! There was ample comfortable space inside and a lovely deck outside for enjoying the sunshine (and to watch the new lambs in the field next door!) We would definitely recommend this lodge, and can't wait to go back again! PS the lodge is literally just 5 minutes away from Cornwall's Crealy park, a wonderful family amusement park which is currently doing 7 days for the price of one... Perfect to end the day at after a lovely morning on the beach. The little ones loved it (so did all the adults!) and lots of indoor activities too, so it's also great for that odd rainy day!

St merryn îs located in a most beautiful part of Cornwall . With various beaches all offering something different within the local area as well as St Mervyns local conveniences and Padstow just down the road you have everything you need within a very short drive. However St Merryn is still close enough to the main carriageway to explore further afield. The holiday park is well maintained and great for children of all ages. Nigel was the most accommodating and helpful host and the lodge is privately situated on the park and nicely furnished and very well equipped. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely go back another year.

Just a short 5 night stay for me & the wife +ve's - top quality accommodation, owner easy to deal with, quiet & relaxing location, very well equiped, decor & content superb, very comfortable. -ve's; bar only open on site during kids six week holiday couldn't pick up WiFi on my phone had to drive to get anywhere but never too far

Stayed in the lodge on a spontaneous booking and very glad we did - this really is a lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. The view from the lodge is very restful - rolling fields with grazing cattle, and the expanse of decking and grass surround mean you can follow the sun. Inside the lodge you find everything you need for a comfortable stay, with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout. With a TV/DVD player in virtually every room a family could easily satisfy all their viewing needs of an evening. Ten minutes in the car and you've a choice of at least 3 good beaches, and two minutes and you're in St. Merryn, which is very pretty and has a lovely cafe, bakery and pub. Padstow is close by, as is a supermarket, so all things are catered for. The clubhouse isn't ready yet, and although it didn't matter to us it could be an issue to others. Definitely recommend to others, and we will be re-booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
