Oakridge St Mellion is an exclusive devlopment of holiday homes in Se Cornwall adjacent to the renowned St Mellion International golf resort.

Substantially remodeled for 2017/18 season, this is a lovely light & spacious house with full central heating & a stylish modern look and feel.

Just 20 homes all located along-side the world famous Jack Nicklaus course at St Mellion. Treetops is the perfect location if you want to get the best out of your visit to Cornwall.Treetops is a fantastic home from home, with plenty of light and space, great views and great access to all the delights of Cornwall. There is also a large sunny balcony The upside down nature of the cottage takes full advantage of the views. The lounge has a cosy fireplace, vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows.Good access to local A roads means that getting about is very easy & there is a Waitrose just down the road.Treetops has woodland & golf course views from the picture windows to the front & a large sunny balcony to the side. This is an ideal holiday home from home. If you are planning to book a few rounds of golf while you are down here,

Treetops is just a few minutes drive from St Mellion. where rounds of golf can be booked direct with the club.

St Mellion club leisure passes can be added for £50 per person per week (£25 per child - aged 6 and up)). These need to be booked and paid for by contacting us direct, once you have booked the cottage through tripadvisor.

The leisure memberships give you free use of their fantastic leisure facilities.

“Could be great with a littleTLC”

The site was lovely and quiet, really felt we were in the thick of Cornwall, but the far end was not kept to the standard of the front end. We were also under the impression that the leisure center was nearby not 20 min drive. The property could be great but the basics weren't all there e.g. a pair of kitchen scissors, toilet roll for the week etc. The downstairs (bedrooms) were damp and we ended up leaving the bathroom light on all the time so the extractor fan was working. It meant that even clothes we hadn't worn required washing and we were putting on damp clothes to go out in or leaving them upstairs the night before. The overall property was spacious and could be great but everything was tied and lots needed replacing, 3 piece, carpets and definitely the towels that were not up to being used daily no mind often twice a day.

Owner's reply: Dear Guest - we are very surprised by your comments & wonder whether you are actually reviewing the right property. In particular... - Dampness - the property is fully centrally heated with an ultra-modern boiler. Assuming the heating was on (we leave it on all year), there is no way that it would feel damp - Health club. The China Fleet club is precisely 12 minutes from the cottage. We measured it ourselves on 5 occasions last year and took an average of those 5 to arrive at that drive time. - All our properties are supplied with toilet roll. - There is no 3 piece suite in this cottage We do hope that future guests will understand that reviews sometimes are miss-assigned.
