Le Boterff is a traditional Breton farmhouse set in almost an acre of attractive gardens in an extremely peaceful, rural location of outstanding natural beauty. The pretty little village of St Mayeux is approximately 1 Km away (where there is a mini supermarket, Post Office and Bar). The attractive town of Mur de Bretagne with its shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarket is just 6 km away. Being centrally located we are ideally situated for exploring all areas of Brittany, with the stunning coastlines to the north, south and west all within easy reach.

Our new Superior Studio Apartment "The Roost" is now available. It is a very spacious first floor studio just for two (26m2) and boasts a comfortable sitting area (with flat-screen TV), dining area (with fabulous countryside views) and a fully equipped kitchen in addition to the pretty double bedroom and generously sized ensuite shower room.

It is ideal for singles or a couple, whether for a short break, main holiday or perhaps a longer stay while house-hunting in the area.

Guests are welcome to relax on our sunny courtyard and to share our beautiful gardens.

Important Note: This apartment is on the first floor. The staircase access is quite steep and narrow, so we regret that the apartment is not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

We live on site, so we are usually on hand to welcome all guests on arrival. If we cannot be present we will leave a note with access information so that you can get into the property immediately. On our return we will come to see you in order to check that you have settled in and have everything you need. We will be happy to advise you on places to eat and drink, places to visit and things to do in the area. We will be pleased to make reservations and call for more information as required. We will do all we can to ensure that you have a most enjoyable stay, so we are pleased to help and assist you in any way we can, on request, but if you wish to be left alone to get on with your holiday we fully respect that too.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Helen (the owner) a message.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
