Description from owner

SPECIAL NOTE - Due to Covid 19 we have introduced several safety and cleaning measure for your protection. These include remote check-in and check-out, minimum 30 hours between lettings for thorough deep cleaning, hand gel supplied.

Le Boterff is a traditional Breton farmhouse set in almost an acre of attractive gardens in an extremely peaceful, rural location of outstanding natural beauty. The pretty little village of St Mayeux is approximately 1 Km away (where there is a mini supermarket, Post Office and Bar). The attractive town of Mur de Bretagne with its shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and supermarket is just 6 km away. Being centrally located we are ideally situated for exploring all areas of Brittany, with the stunning coastlines to the north, south and west all within easy reach.

Rose Gite sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms. There is a wealth of attractive original features such as timber beams and feature stonework. The cosy log burner is great to relax by if it should turn chilly in the evening.

The open-plan living room is spacious and comfortable with lounge seating and dining furniture to accommodate the whole family. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you are likely to need, with full cooking facilities and the all-important dishwasher!

There are three bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king-size double bed. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds. Bedroom 3 has a single bed. There is an additional single bed on the mezzanine landing. All bedrooms are spacious with thermostatic electric heating, dressing tables and clothes hanging / storage.

The modern tiled shower room is situated on the ground floor. It has an extra large shower enclosure, WC and washbasin with vanity unit.

For larger family groups we have a second gite available ("Chevrefeuille", see 385435) to sleep 5 people and a superior studio apartment to sleep 2 ("The Roost" See 8641073).

B&B is available (See 400752) and Caravan / Camping is available on our peaceful rural site adjacent to our gardens. The property is ideal for individuals, couples, families and groups. Dogs are welcome too (by arrangement). Short and long stays welcome.

The stunning Lac de Guerledan is just 10 minutes away for sailing, boating and water sports or just relaxing on the sandy beaches or in a lakeside cafe. The Abbey de Bon Repos and the beautiful Nantes-Brest Canal are nearby. Other local attractions include historic chateaux, lovely villages and beautiful medieval towns (such as Josselin, Dinan, Moncontour, Quintin).

There are a number of restaurants, bars, cafés and crêperies in the area to suit all tastes and pockets where you can sample Breton specialities in simple cafés and Bistros or gastronomic delights in Michelin starred Restaurants.

Other activities include walking, cycling, fishing and golf. The main road from St Mayeux to Mur de Bretagne is regularly used as part of the Tour de France. Most of the roads are extremely quiet making walking cycling and driving a real pleasure!

There are many other family attractions within easy reach. There is so much to do that there is never enough time!

We live on site and are on hand (if required) to help you to get the most out of your stay in beautiful Brittany.
