Lovely, modern holiday apartment just by the sea, in the historic village of St Margarets Bay, Kent.

Description
Just a 5-minute downhill walk from the beach, located at the foot of the white chalk cliffs of St Margaret's Bay, is Headland.

Situated on the southeast coast of England between Dover and Deal, the holiday apartment adjoins our own holiday home. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and families. Opposite is The Pines, a stunning 6-acre garden offering the perfect blend of sustainability and innovation with a sensory garden and lake, ideal for picnics.

Visit the South Foreland Lighthouse, Dover Walmer and Deal Castles, or bring your passport and take a day trip to France.

The apartment sleeps up to a maximum of 4 guests. We do not recommend it for 4 adults but will accept a booking from 4 adults if that's what you want to do. We believe that guests will find the following accommodation combinations comfortable: 2 or 3 adults; 2 adults with up to 2 pre-teen children or one grown-up child. If you are unsure, please contact us for advice.

“Fantastic”

We were lucky enough to stay here on a long break. The cottage was immaculate and so well kitted out with everything you could need, just bring yourself. If you have mobility problems, you will have to drive to the beach. As you leave the cottage on foot, turn left for cliff walks and amazing views, turn right down the hill to the beach. On the doorstep is the Pine gardens, well worth a visit and the tearoom is fab . Wonderful location, beautiful cottage and lovely hosts, thank you Maria and Michael xx

“Ideal retreat for any time of the year”

We visited headland for a long weekend in November. We were fortunate to have good weather and this made the works along the cliffs even better than we would have expected.This is a fantastic location for cliff walks which are right on the doorstep.The cottage itself needs no description ,it is exactly as you see it in the advertisement. Really nice.The 6 fresh eggs,fresh loaf,carton of fresh juice,carton of milk and bottle of spring water were a really nice touch to start off our stay there. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay anywhere on the Kent coast. Cant wait till we go again.

“A quintessentially Dover experience”

We arrived in the evening after a long day of travelling along the coast. Michael and Maria, the owners welcomed us warmly and set everything up. We just fell in love with this place! A newly refurbished cottage with much attention to detail, atmospheric and cosy, cool design, brand new everything. Just a few minutes walk from breath-taking White Cliffs of Dover and South Foreland Lighthouse (National Trust). Great location. I want to come back! And we definitely will. A perfect starting point to explore the whole area.

“Very nice base to explore the amazing scenery”

Had a very pleasant stay here for the weekend. The famous white cliffs of Dover are just a short walk away and the views are breathtaking. Well worth a visit also to the lighthouse tea rooms for a bit of nostalgia and the gardens opposite. Inside the house is brand new and well thought out. Its an area overlooked because of its association with the Port but well worth a look.

How do damage deposits work?
