“great holiday for families”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2017

Lovely setting, the caravan was a great size, the restaurant served great food so i didnt have to cook, there was plenty for kids to do, the only thing we didnt like was the walk up that very steep hill to get to the facilities but on the whole it was great. Would come again but to a caravan nearer to the top of the hill.

Thank you for your review, we are really pleased you enjoyed the holiday home and how comfortable 27 Normandy Court can be, the views are amazing especially on a sunny day. The steep hill is a challenge, but at least its down hill after a great meal in the restaurant and an entertainment evening. Look forward to hearing from you next time. Pat & Cliff.

“"A great holiday"”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2016

We were able to drive straight into the site and park alongside the caravan without booking in at reception. There is ample space to park two cars which is so good because many caravans have parking spaces well away from where they are sited and at weekends most parking spaces were full.. The caravan is well equipped with a good sized TV, a full sized fridge and freezer, microwave, cooker, hob and extensive cooking utensils. The furniture and curtains were good quality. The veranda at the back with views over the countryside had a lounger, 4 chairs, a table and umbrella which although usable should be replaced at the end of the season. What we really liked was the ability to see exactly what our caravan would be like before getting there and to know that it would situated in one of the best places in the park. The caravan was reasonably clean and my wife appreciated the fact that there was a vacuum cleaner to keep it that way. It has voile curtains to ensure privacy but they are cream and some people may accuse me of being pedantic when I say that a nice bright white net curtain would make all the difference

Thank you for your review, it makes all the difference when you enjoy the holiday home, we will look into using white voiles. Thank you for your honest feedback, it is appreciated and we will take your comments on board, especially the patio furniture and replacing with a more robust set. The balcony is a major feature of the holiday home with the sweeping views and it is important you have the opportunity enjoy every possible moment. Look forward to hearing from you again, Pat & Cliff Edwards
