Coverack Cottage is located in the peaceful countryside close to the village of St Keverne on the Lizard Peninsula- an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Coverack Cottage is set in a secluded Mews of similar style cottages surrounded by beautiful countryside and within a few miles of the idyllic Helford River, Frenchmans Creek, Kynance Cove and delightful coastal villages of Coverack and Cadgwith. The local village of St Keverne offers a wide range of facilites including: Village Stores, Butcher, Bakery, Post Office and two pubs. For a wider range of shopping facilities the town of Helston is a short drive, where the larger superstores and petrol stations can be found.

Local Attractions that are well worth a visit include: Rosklllys Organic Working Farm famous for its homemade Ice-cream and Tea Rooms, The Cornish Camel Farm, the sandy beaches of Church Cove, Coverack and Kennack Sands, Lizard Point, with its majestic lighthouse, set on the most southerly point of England, Goonhilly

Coverack Cottage offers an: open plan kitchen/dining and living area. Each room has a night storage heater with additional freestanding oil-filled and electric heaters. The well equipped kitchen has a full size cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and dining table with four chairs. The lounge area offers two comfortable sofas ideal for relaxing after exploring the beautiful beaches and countryside with a television with DVD player, ipod dock plus DVDs and a selection of books on the shelves. Wi-fI is available in the property. Bedroom 1: One double bedroom with large wardrobe, pine chest with four drawers two bedside cabinets with matching bedside lamps. Bedroom 2: Two single beds with large wardrobe and pine chest with four drawers and bedside cabinet with bedside lamp. Bathroom with electric shower over the bath and heated towel rail. Airing/storage cupboard with hoover and hot water tank in hallway. Garden bench and table in private garden and large picnic table with benches in the shared garden. Rotary dryer in shared garden.

The quaint lawned front garden has a seating area with table ideal for al fresco dining. Also there is a shared garden with a large wooden table with benches and with outstanding countryside views and sea glimpses. Here there is also a large rotary drier.
Parking is available in the courtyard outside the cottage.

The England region

The Lizard Peninsula is an area of stunning coastal scenery. Nearby there are lovely sandy beaches, excellent for surfing, dramatic cliffs and beautiful fishing villages. It is Britain's most Southerly point which offers early springtime flowers and in autumn colourful heathers. Goonhilly Downs is not far away; home to the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station. Locally the rugged coastline offers a wealth of walking opportunities.

St Keverne

The local village of St Keverne is just a couple of miles away and offers a local shop, butcher, Post Office, bakery and two pubs. Further a field the market town of Helston offers a good range of shops and supermarkets. There is an interesting local Folk Museum to explore in Helston and Helston is also famous for the Annual Floral Dance, held in May.
