'Beach View' is a stunning contemporary holiday rental apartment which has undergone a complete refurbishment. It is part of the Gwel Marten complex which occupies a highly sought after cliff top position on the site of the old Gwel Marten Hotel on Headland Road.

The apartment has a commanding front line position with a very rare private outside terrace for alfresco dining and providing uninterrupted sea and beach views and also has a private covered parking space and free Wifi internet access.

With close proximity to Carbis Bay train station, it is also just a very short train ride into the centre of St Ives, a journey which takes around 3 minutes and follows a dramatic path along the coast.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe and chest of draws with colour TV. The second bedroom has twin beds with bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, chest of draws and colour TV. There is an additional single fold away bed so providing a flexible option to the sleeping arrangements and the potential also to sleep a 5th person. Linking the rear bedrooms to the front of the apartment is a spectacular hallway which is 40' in length.

The apartment is situated on the ground floor and is accessed by a small flight of stairs. There is large bench for seating on the front terrace along with a seprate table and chairs. On the rear terrace there is a second table and chairs. Guests can access Carbis Bay Beach and the South West Coastal Path directly from the front terrace.

The magnificent peninsula is enclosed within 36 miles of coastline which runs from St Ives in the north to Penzance and Mounts Bay in the south to create an island atmosphere surrounded by the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Experience also the unique micro-climate which often creates many an Indian Summer allowing beautiful sub-tropical gardens to flourish.

Places of interest in West Cornwall and further afield include St Michael's Mount (Mounts Bay), Lamorna Cove (near Penzance), Mousehole Village, Lands End, Sennen Cove (surfing), Padstow (cooking courses with Rick Stein), Newquay (indoor water world) and St Austell (Eden Project), The Minack Theatre (St Levan) and the Flambards Experience in Helston which are all within very easy reach either by car or public transport.

Historic St Ives remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK and is renowned for its cosmopolitan mix of restaurants and cafes, cobbled streets, art galleries including the famous Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum, golden sandy beaches and stunning scenery. Whether you are simply looking for a week on one of the many beaches, or an energetic mix of surfing, sailing, golf, horse riding, walking the South West Coastal Path or diving, there is something here for you.

Carbis Bay is situated just outside St Ives and has one of the finest beaches in West Cornwall. It is an exclusive and quieter base which is ideal for exploring St Ives and the surrounding area . You can walk along the picturesque coastal path into St Ives in 20 minutes in one direction or to Hawkes Point and Porthkidney Sands in the other direction - the sands are again some of the finest in Cornwall. Alternatively, you are just a short walk from being able to access the tourist train which takes just a few minutes to arrive at St Ives from Carbis Bay and follows a stunning route along the coastline.

The Hayle Esturary is also nearby for bird watching as is the West Cornwall Golf Club in Lelant.
