“Thoroughly recommended”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2015

We have just returned from a week in St Ives and stayed at Gwithians Reach. The house is cosy and warm, finished to perfection with personal touches way about and beyond the normal holiday rental. We felt at home straight away. Plenty of kitchen equipment, cosy beds and a wonderful view whatever the weather. Cant wait to book up for next September!!!!

“Beautifully appointed house in St. Ives”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2015

I spent a wonderful New Year's holiday with my husband, two children and parents at Gwithians Reach. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, the kitchen nicely kitted-out, and there is a lovely view from the conservatory. The house is just a short walk from the centre of St. Ives, but far enough away from the crowds of tourists. It was especially nice on New Year's Eve, when we had a great view of the town's fireworks from the conservatory and back terrace. The owner was a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday let in Cornwall.

“Great location - perfect for a week in St Ives”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2013

Having stayed in a number of rental properties in Cornwall this one does work really well, its clean / tidy / well equipped and the wifi kept older kids happy, it has a real seaside cottage feel. It's patio gets the morning sun and is great for sitting outside and the bbq and tables were well used for outside dining. The rear access makes getting into town very easy and avoids the steep hills and the closeness to Porthmeor beach (10 minute max walk) is perfect for leaving the car on the drive, the parking space in St Ives is a real benefit. Bedrooms all of a good size and beds very comfortable, the seagulls seem to prefer other houses so sleep is easy ! We have had 2 great weeks here over the past 2 years and couldn't ask for more...

“Great house with stunning views!”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2012

We stayed at Gwithians Reach for 5 days but wished it could have been longer! Good location - 5 minute walk to town but set in a nice quiet residential road. Parking for two cars was a little tight but we managed it with two family-sized cars. The house is fantastically finished inside - new appliances, recently decorated, very comfy beds and towels soft enough for a 5 start hotel! It was spotlessly clean too. We spent a lot of our time in the conservatory and on the decking enjoying the great views out towards the sea. In the evenings the log burning stove was a nice touch. Overall I can't fault the property and would definitely stay again. The owners were really friendly to deal with and you get the impression they genuinely care your stay being a good one. Highly recommended!
