A small welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, bottle of wine and local paper awaits your arrival to help you unwind from your journey. St Hilary Churchtown is a small, quiet and very pretty hamlet with a quaint granite church, located just half a mile from Goldsithney by car or a quarter of a mile by foot. Goldsithney offers a well stocked newsagents and village shop selling local produce, a post office and two pubs which offer a good choice of menu. It is approx 1.5 mile from the ancient market town of Marazion and just 2 miles from a number of sandy beaches; Praa Sands – excellent for the surfers, Perranuthnoe, Marazion famous for St Michael's Mount and the more secluded coves of Prussia and Acton Castle. Ideally situated for the spectacular coastal walks or the more sedate country strolls being just a 10 minute walk to 'Friendship Woods' which if followed one way can take you to Marazion cross country! For those of you wishing to have a more energetic time, it is a great location to begin any mountain bike adventure with tracks and trails galore! Being centrally located with Porthcurno and its famous Minack Theatre, Lands End and Cape Cornwall in one direction and St Ives, The Cathedral City of Truro, and The Lizard Peninsula in the other!

Location description from manager

The England region

This south west county enjoys a milder climate than much of England, and consequently Cornwall has long been a popular all year round self catering holiday getaway. The North Cornwall area provides the best surfing in England, with towns like Newquay, Perranporth, Polzeath, St Ives and Bude filling with enthusiasts every year.

West Cornwall has a spectacular rugged coastline and an ever changing landscape. Cornwall is an all weather location that offers something for everyone.

St Hilary

The gateway to St Michael's Mount, Marazion has a unique identity of it's own. A small market town, pretty and with plenty of history with an almost mythical causeway leading to the Mount that reveals itself at low tide. With a sandy beach that continues all the way to Penzance and offering an array of galleries, shops and restaurants - it's certainly worth a visit.
