“Amazing”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2015

Having stayed at this cottage last year exactly the same time of year we knew what a wonderful holiday this year was going to be. Firstly, dealing with Lorraine again this year was as if I had known her for years. So friendly, kind and really easy to get on with. She made booking our summer holiday a breeze. We were a party of six (well 8 if you include the two dogs ). Me and my husband, my son and his partner and their two little girls aged 4 and nearly 2. They absolutely loved the cottage and the sea of course and we spent many a time down at either of the two beaches just 100m from the cottage. The beautiful, safe and well kept garden backs out onto a small little road which leads to the beach. You have a choice of two beaches, one to the left of the little harbour and one to the right. The sea was so sandy and clean and they loved it. Couldn't get them out of the water at times. The cottage lived hugely up to our expectations again and we loved every single minute of our holiday. The cottage was sparkling clean even down to the kitchen utensils etc etc. The decking at the back of the cottage looks over to the bay and is a beautiful place to sit and relax. Every meal we had we had al fresco. Was just amazing and the bbq came in handy too (which my son cooked on while we all relaxed). The rooms were very spacious and we weren't all bumping into each other. The kitchen/lounge is huge and the bedrooms also very spacious. The cottage is in the St Helens Bay golf complex so my husband and son availed of the facilities of course !! The little village of Kilrane is a few hundered metres from the cottage and has a well stocked Super Valu and pubs and cafes etc etc. Rosslare Hotel overlooking the harbour is also close by. It truly is a lovely place to spend your holiday. Everything was just so easy and simple which makes your holiday stress free and leaves you with plenty of time to enjoy it. I really would recommend this cottage to anybody and hope to return again next year for the third time. We all had a really brilliant holiday. Thank you Lorraine for allowing us the opportunity to experience such a beautiful cottage in a truly lovely setting. Bernadine XXXXXXX

“It was perfect!”

Fantastic location - very quiet/ great privacy. Lovely rural setting with gorgeous sea view. A short stroll to a beautiful secluded clean beach and a relaxing swim. Chalet/cottage had everything one could want/need. Kitchen/living area leading to spacious conservatory with verandah and charming garden for our Labrador! Very comfortable furniture especially beds! Friendly horses grazing nearby/large green area at front with two tennis courts. Weather was wonderful!!

We are very grateful that you have taken the time to review SeaView Cottage and are pleased to know that your time spent here was an enjoyable experience and hope that we get the opportunity to welcome you and of course Milo back again soon.

“Absolutely Amazing”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2014

This was a family vacation for one week which included my husband and I, my son and his partner and their two daughters, aged 3 and 10 months and two small dogs. I have to say the property and its location were abs amazing. We loved it from start to finish. The location of the house was perfect and only a few minutes walk to your choice of two beaches and a little harbour. The house itself was also amazing (I seem to be using this word "amazing" a lot but that is how it was) and was spotlessly clean and spacious. There was ample room for the lot of us. As well as having a beautiful conservatory which had a sea view, there was a huge decking area on which we had several barbeques in the evening. In front of the decking there was a huge garden which was most importantly secured on all sides to keep the children and dogs in !! There was a gate at the back of the garden which led down to the sea. Rosslare Harbour and all its attractions are only a 2-3 minute drive away and the town of Kilrane is only up the road. The local pubs in Kilrane were great and there was a lovely fish and chip shop just behind the Rosslare Hotel. I would also like to mention the owner of the property. From the initial phone call inquiring about the property Lorraine was very friendly, informative, accommodating and always willing to answer any query or question we had. We all had a brilliant time. My son and his partner are still raving about it (and my husband and I are too) and their 3-year old keeps on asking when are we going back. We definitely hope to return next year. Bernadine Clarke

Thank you so much for your kind words and wonderful compliments Bernadine. We are thrilled that you loved the house and the area as much as we do, and would be delighted to welcome you all back again in the future. Lorraine

“Great for Family Breaks”

Just back from a fantastic Paddy's Day weekend in St Helens Bay Rosslare. The resort has everything - golf, tennis, beach,Kids playground.Clubhouse not open at the moment as its in the process of changing ownership.Great pub grub up the road in kilrane. The house was simply the best holiday home I've come across .Huge raised decking out the back overlooking the sea .Nice to watch the ferry going past from the deck .Great Conservatory with sea view too.Open fire was a treat we're not use to in Dublin any more.Three nice sized bedrooms .Access to the beach about 100 yards from the bottom of the enclosed garden. A real treat for all the family

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice review, your comments are very much appreciated. So glad to know that you and your family enjoyed your stay and that the sunny south east lived up to its name. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again.
