It's hard not to smile when you first enter this large open plan lving room as you'll first be blown away by the views and then focus on the high level of comfort and equipment that the owners have invested into this recently renovated chalet. Turn to your right and you'll see the kitchen area, again very well equipped and beautiful with its natural wood fronts and stone worktops and next to this the dining area with seating for 8 in comfort. Finally the lounge area- cosy armchairs, UK Freesat TV and amazing views.
Head upstairs and you'll find the first of the 4 bedrooms off the mezzanine, a cosy twin. A toilet with full sized sink are next door. Back to the first floor is the first of the doubles, this one with an en suite shower and toilet. Heading down again you'll come to the ground floor with the second of the doubles, this one with views across the swimming pool to the mountains. The bathroom with toilet is just across the hallway from this bedroom.
Downstairs again is the wonderful dedicated home cinema room with surround sound and selection of DVDs and even a wine fridge. From here you can access the swimming pool and the last of the double bedrooms. A step down the corridor is the last of the shower rooms, again with toilet, and the sauna.
Every room also has a wireless handset from which you can select and control music from the central server independently of any other room and there is plenty of storage throughout the chalet for clothes, cases etc.
As the chalet is set over four floors and the stairs are steep we do not recommend this chalet for the infirm or for families with young children.

The chalet has its own private pool which is approximately 30 feet long and is heated to about 26 degrees (available July-August only)
Due to the layout of the chalet and the swimming pool the chalet is not suitable for families with young children.
Upon arrival guests are met, providing an opportunity to receive any local information or help that is required.
The Rhône-Alpes region
St Gervais and its surrounding area is famous for the great skiing in winter and in summer the climbing, cycling and walking. The town has a good snow record in the winter and in the summer and autumn it is warm and sunny.
Located in the French northern Alps and situated at the feet of Mont Blanc, St Gervais has stunning scenery and a wide variety of things to do.
Saint Gervais is a beautiful Savoyard village with a friendly atmosphere. It is home to Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc and has been a popular holiday destination for over a hundred years. There are a number of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and every Thursday morning there is a market and the village's main square is a hive of activity.
The towns of Megeve and Chamonix are just a 20 minute drive away should you wish to explore a little further.
St Gervais has a huge number of activities on offer. It is popular with walkers and cyclists in the summer - it is one of the starting points for the Tour du Mont Blanc. In winter Saint Gervais has a large ski area (over 440 km) which links to nearby Megeve. The Mont Blanc Tramway can be taken from Saint Gervais to the Bellevue plateau (1800m) or the Prarion giving skiers access to the Les Houches ski area in winter. Or it can be taken by walkers or those just wishing to see the wonderful panorama in winter or summer. For those who would like to relax a little St Gervais's famous thermal parc offers complementary therapies and massage.
The village also has a brand new indoor/outdoor pool complex with a 25m pool, a play pool, a paddling pool, an outdoor pool, a sauna and hammam. Also in the village is an olympic sized ice rink, clay tennis courts (with international tennis tournament in June) and
a great mini-golf course. Mountain bikes are easy to hire in the town too.
In summer the summer activity pass costs around 100 euros for a family of 4 or 5 for a week and gives access to the swimming pool, mini-golf, cable cars and activities at the leisure park in nearby Les Contamines.
