Description

Morlais is a two bedroomed chalet- style holiday cottage situated on the sandy beach of Poppit Sands and is available for holiday let throughout the year. It is situated on the beautiful Welsh Pembrokeshire coast and is within the boundary of the Pembrokeshire National Park.

There are two bedrooms. In one bedroom there is a double bed and in the second room bunk beds.

The dining / living room area comfortably hosts four people. There is a television for your use. The sofa is positioned so you look directly out to sea and onto the beach. This room has really fantastic views and you could sit here for hours watching all the activity on the beach!

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge.

The bathroom comprises of an electric shower, toilet and hand-basin.

The property is double-glazed and heated throughout. There is no extra charge for electricity, heating or water. Outside there is a small fenced garden with a washing line. There is parking for two cars. We welcome well behaved dogs to stay at this cottage.

Bed linen is provided for the double bed and towels are provided for two people. Single duvets and pillows are provided for the bunk bed, but not bed linen or towels. If you however would prefer the bunk bed to have linen and towels, then this would be an additional charge of £6 per bed linen/towel pack - please just let me know.

With the exception of four other beach-side residences, Morlais is only surrounded by fields to the rear of the property and directly in front is the beach. It is approached via a track which is part of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. The cottage is a matter of metres from the beach of Poppit Sands and boasts outstanding views overlooking Cardigan Bay and the Pembrokeshire coast. This is the home of much wildlife including seals, dolphins, birds of prey and a wide variety of sea birds.

Morlais provides an ideal holiday retreat for both the young and old whether intending to have an active vacation or purely wishing to escape. It is ideal in both the winter months when you can enjoy brisk walks along the beach with your dog and then return to the warm and enjoy the amazing views from the sofa with a mug of cocoa in your hands or in the summer when you and your family can laze on the beach and enjoy the sea, without even having to think about getting into a car. You can even prepare lunch while watching your family play on the beach! The beach has awards for cleanliness and has life-guard cover in the summer months.

Lovely views. Know the area well so lots of walking. Felt a bit cramped in the bedroom having to walk around the bed sideways. Enjoyed our stay.

Loved our stay and so did the dogs. We were very comfortable at Morlais. Lovely walks on the beach. Plenty of places to visit.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
