Description

This Grade II listed stone holiday cottage is situated in the coastal village of Trefin and is within walking distance of the historical ruins of the Old Mill at Aberfelin Cove on the north Pembrokeshire Coast.

The cottage has been carefully renovated by the local owner who has retained its traditional character and pleasant atmosphere throughout.

This cottage is an ideal touring base with many sandy beaches and picturesque harbours nearby, as well as the Cathedral City of St David's.

Within a few minutes drive is Traethllyn beach which has magnificent golden sands and is owned and cared for by the National Trust.

There is a pub (The Ship Inn) in the village which serves locally sourced food and has a good selection of drinks to choose from.

The LOUNGE-DINING ROOM which features a modern multi-fuel stove in a stone fireplace, the lounge area is furnished with comfortable leather sofa, easy chairs, coffee table, grandfather clock, colour TV, video and CD Hi Fi system, the dining area contains a pine table with matching chairs and a pine Welsh dresser.

The KITCHEN is well-equipped with limed oak fitted units, terracotta-tiled floor, combination microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and automatic washer drier. The kitchen is in the old part of the cottage and features the original beamed ceiling and Simne Fawr (Inglenook) with a royal blue Rayburn cooker (that runs the central heating and hot water).

BATHROOM contains a bath with overhead shower, wash hand basin and WC.

THE MASTER BEDROOM contains a pine four poster bed and is prettily draped with light green hangings, pine wardrobe and fitted dressing table.

BEDROOM 2 contains two pine single beds, with matching furniture. Pretty bed linen is provided for the beds which all have duvets.

Garden and Parking

There is a small lawned area in front of the cottage and a patio to the rear.

Garden furniture is provided. There is a gravelled area to the side ideal for parking two cars.

Hot tub

A private hot tub is available on the rear patio for guests exclusive use.

Other Information

There is full gas central heating throughout the cottage and all gas will be charged according to use - payable at property. Electricity is included in the rental. Logs for the stove are available locally. A travel cot and highchair are provided. All the rugs for the cottage have been made by the Woollen Mill close by. Towels available, on request, £5 per guest. Wi-Fi enabled. Regretfully, no pets.
