Description from owner

Description

The cottage has been carefully renovated by the local owner who has retained its traditional character and pleasant atmosphere throughout.

The stable door opens into the hallway and into the attractive lounge diner which is spacious and full of character with open high beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors and features a spectacular stone chimney breast with multi-fuel stove, ideal for chilly evenings.

The lounge area is furnished with comfortable leather sofa, easy chairs, coffee table, grandfather clock, colour TV, video and CD HI Fi system, the dining area contains a pine table with matching chairs and a pine welsh dresser. The kitchen is the old part of the cottage and it features the original beamed ceiling and Simne Fawr (inglenook) with a royal blue Rayburn cooker (that runs the central heating and hot water).

The master bedroom contains a pine four poster bed and is prettily draped with light green hangings, pine wardrobe and fitted dressing table.

Location description from owner

The St Davids Peninsula region

Pembrokeshire's attraction is its peace and tranquility which has a hypnotic effect on visitors who return year after year, if not more frequently. The coastline and villages have changed very little over the centuries. The superb sandy beaches and quiet coves, once the haunt of smugglers, are around every twist and turn of the coastal lanes. Both on the coast and in the Preseli hills there is a profusion of beautiful wild flowers, encouraged by the mild climate, high sunshine hours and influenced by the Gulf Stream. Pembrokeshire is a haven for nature lovers with foxes, badgers and birds too numerous to mention literally on your doorstep.

St. Davids

The North Pembrokeshire coastline is one of the most stunning in the world! There are 186 miles of coastal path to enjoy and lots of spectacular scenery to enjoy along the way.
St Davids, Britains smallest city and Fishguard, gateway to southern Ireland are close by. There are lots of galleries, eateries, coffee shops and welcoming hostelries to please visitors.
