Very quiet house set in seven and a half acres of with peaceful uninterrupted country views. Away from the hussle and bustle but within very easy driving distance to Bergerac, Perigeux and Bordeaux. This property is South facing, so enjoying the sun from early morning until night.

Sleeping 6 people, 2 double bedrooms on 1st floor along with sofa bed.Périgueux is the county capital of the Dordogne (its Préfecture) a territory roughly corresponding to the ancient Perigord.

Further details

Damage deposit of £200 is required which is fully refundable subject to final inspection of the property. Keys will be collected with use of key codes. Loss of the wifi dongle will lose 100 euros. Damage to the pool or pool cover will lose whole of damage deposit. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am.

Tv with Sky freeview. Lounge is south facing with double doors onto the terrace leading out into the private garden. The outlook from the house is acres of fields. The pool is located in the secluded garden with a pergola for those who wish to take a break from the sun. Two main bedrooms to the rear of the house along with a mezzanine area with bed/settee and a bathroom with separate toilet leading off from the hallway. A woodburner is also located in the lounge.The conservatory has double doors which leads out onto the garden. The kitchen leads into the separate dining room.

Local canoeing at Sarlat, Brantome, St Astier.

Many places to eat in Perigeuex, Begerac, Brantome, Riberac. Fishing available locally in St Aquilin.Sarlat-la-Caneda is really worth a visit. In the heart of the Perigord Noir, Sarlat grew up around a Benedictine abbey founded in the 9th century. It has a distinct medieval feel about it, with numerous magnificent buildings around every corner you turn. The towns Saturday market is also a main feature with its truffles, foie gras and mushrooms (depending on the season). Brantome is known as the 'Venice of the Perigord', has a VIIIc Benedictine Abbey with monastery gardens,caves 'Grottes du Denier Judgement' and superb restaurants.
