Description from manager

Description

A stunning large Victorian house in the middle of St Andrews. Queen's Gardens is a pretty tree & garden lined street located just off South Street (opposite Holy Trinity Church) and the house is less than one minute's walk from the many restaurants/ bars/shops. For parties of eight or less there is a reduction in price of £50 per booking.

Because of its central location it is ideally placed as a base not only for golfers but those visiting the university or exploring the historic buildings and ruins of the town. The Old Course 1st tee/18th green and the iconic Royal & Ancient Clubhouse are all a short walk away as are the town's beautiful beaches - the East & West Sands (remember the classic opening sequence in the film 'Chariots of Fire'?).For wedding groups we are almost next door to the Town Hall & Holy Trinity Church.

4 large double bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bath/shower facilities & the 4th bathroom with a shower room

Private Garden

Queen's Gardens is typical within St Andrews in that many of the houses have a private garden opposite the house. No. 6 enjoys a 130ft garden with patio seating, dining and BBQ area and golf practice/warm up net. This is potentially an important start to the day as several of the courses in town don't actually have a practice range facility anywhere near the 1st tee.

Location description from manager

The Scotland region

There is nowhere more unique than St Andrews. It has world reknowned golf courses, miles and miles of sandy beaches, fabulous coastal walks, world-class restaurants and the history of being an esteemed University town. There is something for everybody here.

There are about 30 golf courses within 15 miles. The restaurants in the town are numerous and of excellent quality. Similarly excellent quality is to be found amongst the local shops, with a range of independent boutiques and artisan traders selling unique labels and fresh local produce from St Andrews and the surrounding area. There are music and art festivals held locally during the year.

Great location/living space and bedrooms. Kitchen a bit small for size of house particularly since we were a party of 10 for Christmas
