Further details indoors

With a garden table and chairs near the kitchen area, holidaymakers often have breakfast and indeed many of their meals outside in the sun.The log cabin has the use of a laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier and a whirly line.

Further details outdoors

The garden outside the log cabin is very quiet and offers an excellent position for sunbathing on the loungers or absorbing the peace and birdsong with a good book. The lane leading to our property is wide enough for cars-delivery lorries manage-but if you have a people carrier or large van,you may wish to park a few metres away in a wider part of the lane.Should the log cabin be unavailable for your dates, the garden flat which shares the same garden may suit you as it is available for a longer holiday period.(Property no 238894)

Location description from owner

The England region

Cornwall is a county renowned for it's tourist industry and St.Agnes is well known for it's friendly welcome to holiday makers. We have varied scenery-all easily reached as we are central and although very rural, only 3 miles from the dual carriageway which links with all parts of the county. There is a strong historical link to tin mining in St.Agnes and a very interesting museum on the edge of the village. The opposite coast(Falmouth and the HelfordRiver) is only 15 miles away and The Log Cabin is an ideal holiday base, being central for visiting The Eden Project ,The Lost Gardens of Heligan,St.Ives and The Tate Gallery with Barbara Hepworth's Sculpture Gardens,The Minnack Theatre on the cliffs at Porthcurno which is open for various performances all summer,St.Michael's Mount,The National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, the Bodmin Steam Railway, various old restored tin mines, many gardens and country houses, wild life sanctuaries and theme parks.

St Agnes

There is something for everyone in St.Agnes("Aggie" as the locals call it)There are 2 local riding stables, surfing lessons available,a choice of3 local beaches, stunning walks(our neighbours run"The Stompers" and organise long walks in the area).and a folder of local strolls and walks is left in the property with books and leaflets detailing what's on and where to go.There is a developing music scene in the village and the pubs are becoming well known venues at the weekends for up-and-coming bands. There is a local Tourist Information Centre in the village.A guide and street map is left in the property and includes useful telephone numbers and details of events in the village.Should you need any help or information,we are close and happy to help.
