Description

Newly refurbished 2 bedroom cottage with lovely fenced garden WiFi provided. One double and one twin bedroom. There is also a fold down bed. Kitchen has all amenities and bathroom has a large walk in shower.

Situated in a quiet cul de sac with a sea view.

Ideal for all types of people with child / pet friendly garden.

St Abbs is a very picturesque friendly village with a lovely harbour.It is ideal for a base to discover the borders or Northumberland. There are interesting walks from the village and a beautiful sandy beach 10 minutes walk from the house.

There is a bus service from St Abbs to Coldingham, Eyemouth and Berwick. It is number 235 and run by Perrymans Coaches

We do not tend to be there on arrival as we live in the west of Scotland although I have been going to St Abbs all my life as my mum was born there. The keys are found in a key safe at the back door

“St Abbs cottage”

Found the cottage randomly online. Couldn't have dreamt of something so perfect. I could have stayed forever. Fully and beautifully equipped property. Cant think of anything I might have needed. The area is so tranquil and unspoilt. Even the weather was relatively kind. Managed a good few days on the beach. Feeding the seals in the harbour at Eyemouth an unexpected highlight. Will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this delightful cottage in St Abbs. There were five of us plus 2 dogs. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and utensils, even a rice cooker. Just a few minutes walk takes you to the harbour and a delightful coffee shop or a few minutes more in the opposite direction takes you to Coldingham Sands. A short drive to Eyemouth for delicious ice creams while watching the seals in the harbour is a trip worth making. Perfect. We will definitely return.

This lovely dog friendly 2 bedroom cottage is ideally located in St Abbs, there are coastal cliff top walks on the doorstep. Coldingham sands is a lovely bay 15mins walk away. Eyemouth, Berwick & Dunbar are within easy commuting distance. The cottage has been refurbished with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The heating is electric which i was unsure about but needn't have been as it was lovely and warm. The beds were comfy. Peter the owner responded quickly to queries i had. The only thing that was a bit problematic was the electric shower as the water pressure isn't great, but I would definitely book again. We had a lovely few days despite the terrible weather.

How do damage deposits work?
