“Autum Holidays in Eastbourne”

Reviewed 6 Nov 2016

We had a nice holiday with our two sons. The flat was modern, clean and with all facilities w e need. There was a very nice seaview by all windows.

“Great flat with a fantastic view”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2015

Enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and well equipped flat with a great view over the Channel around the balcony. Incl. parking space and lift. Very friendly and helpful renter. Our daughter and her friend also enjoyed their stay and room very much. Sovereign Harbour and restaurants nearby. Also a moderate walk to Eastbourne and Pier and a short way to the beach. We can highly recommend it.

“A pleasant, relaxing place to stay”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2015

The apartment is airy, comfortable and clearly well-kept. There is a nice seaview from the balcony and most of the rooms. (It looks out over the sea and not the marina). Another reviewer commented on the fact that the view is not uninterrupted. It is across a road and through a gap between buidings - but it is a very big gap and would not detract from the view for most people. It is only about 10 minutes pleasant walk from the central part of the marina where all the restaurants, bars and shops are - and it's a very large, fascinating marina. You could walk into Eastbourne centre but ti's probably a bit far for most people Debra, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and met us on arrival to show us round the apartment and tell us about the local area.

“A lovely well equipped apartment overlooking the sea, in a good location.”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2015

Firstly we found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. Secondly, the apartment was lovely with good sized rooms. Very clean. The views overlooking the sea were great especially from the wrap around balcony which was a big plus. The hosts had left some goodies which was a really nice touch. Thirdly, Sovereign Harbour is a beautiful spot and with the exceptional weather we had, sitting drinking coffee on the terraces felt like the Med! We enjoyed the 10 minute walk to the marina, looking for the resident seal. We also enjoyed the 3 mile walk into Eastbourne but my parents preferred using the local bus service which was pretty good. All in all, we had a fab week and would definitely revisit in the future.

“The Right Place to Spend Your Holidays”

Reviewed 11 May 2014

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful apartment. It is being kept very clean and tidy and it is not far away from the restaurants at Sovereign Harbour. Or you just walk along the promenade into Eastbourne. The apartment is quiet and you can enjoy the sun and the see from your own balcony. Moreover, being so close to "1066 Country" you can also go by car to visit a number of historic monuments. There is a secure space for your car in the building where the apartment is. Many thanks to Debra for arranging erverything so nicely.

“The perfect choice to unwind and relax.”

The flat was just perfect for us - right by the beach and the marina. It was a treat to see the sun rise over the horizon each morning as the little fishing boats set off for their day of checking their pots and nets. . Great location if you enjoy eating out as the Marina has a number of different restaurants to chose from. Thank you Debra for giving us such a warm welcome. Have already recommended to friends and will certainly add to my list of places to return to.

“Luxury at an affordable price”

Superb appartment, everything had been thought of. Wonderful location overlooking beach and sea. Sovereign Harbour kept very clean and tidy. Excellent communication with owner from booking onwards. If Debra could have changed the weather she would have I'm sure. Best day out from Eastbourne was Rye without doubt, not to be missed. Many thanks Debra & Vicky, will see you again I'm certain. “Fantastic apartment and superb location”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2012

Apartment very clean, modern and comfortable. Great having secure parking. We had everything we could possibly want and Debra was very helpful. Numerous restaurants at the harbour within walking distance. Lovely walk to Eastbourne pier along the sea front. We were lucky with the weather so able to sit on the balcony and take advantage of the lovely sea view

“Very clean apartment”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2012

The apartment was very clean and the manager had left tea/coffee and milk for a welcoming cuppa when we arrived. Also a lovely cake and a bottle of bubbly for later on. A lovely touch. There are 2 bedrooms - one double (which was very comfortable) and one twin and as we were 2 couples one couple had to have the twin beds, ordinarily not a problem only they really are for children - a zipper bed would be more beneficial so as to make it into a double, which would be more comfortable when 2 couples stay, or unzip for when children stay. The only thing that disappointed us is that it doesn't overlook the beach - in fact you are one block of apartments and one road away, although you do have a seaview through the houses. From the picture on the web it looks like the manager is walking her dog just below the apartment!!! The road was very noisy at times and especially on the Friday night when all the local kids "come out". The balcony is overlooked from neighbours so you cannot have a quiet private drink. Other than this the apartment is very nice and extremely welcoming with adequate space and utensils. You are a nice walk away from the harbour and just a 100 yards away from the beach. There is a working lift so you don't have to use the stairs and the garage is very secure We would stay here again but only if we were just one couple.

“Wow - amazing accommodation wish all self-catering was this good!”

Have just had a fantastic Easter holiday staying at "Seaview" can thoroughly recommend it. Debra was very welcoming and friendly, had even hidden some eggs for my children to find! The apartment was as good if not better than the photos, which certainly made a refreshing change. Plenty of room for the four of us, very clean and comfortable and everything in excellent order with little personal touches. The seaviews and wraparound balcony really made the place special. We enjoyed Eastbourne and surrounding area very much, it was easy to walk to local facilities at Marina and walk into Eastbourne or use local Dotto train or bus. We had a daytrip to Brighton on the train, visited Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea, Pevensey, Seaford, Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. There was really so much to see and do, lots of history to soak up and beautiful scenery, plenty of sea air - a wonderful holiday will definitely be back!
