From the owner

The house is decorated in a bright holiday style. It is just a few minutes walk from the harbour where you can wander past the boats after which a drink or dinner can be enjoyed overlooking the main harbour at The Waterfront.

This well equipped property is in a quiet Close in Sovereign Harbour marina development within two minutes walk to harbour walks, bus routes and ten minutes walk to shops, restaurants and bars. It has a designated parking space. The porperty has two bedrooms; one with a regular double bed, and the other is a small bunk room (bunk mattresses 5'9" long.) There is a family shower room.

Sorry we do not accept pets and our bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.

The Waterfront with its restaurants and bars is also just minutes walk away as is the Crumbles shopping centre (Asda, Boots, Next, Matalan, TK Maxx and others).

Eastbourne Airbourne in August is for those who love a great air display and Eastbourne tennis is famous as a warm up for Wimbledon. The beach is nearby as is Eastbourne town centre with its famous pier and three theatres. Parking in Eastbourne can sometimes be tricky so why not take the bus or even the Dotto train (summer months). Better still take a healthy walk to town along the seafront which takes about half an hour.

There are two great public 9 hole golf courses within three miles of the house which are very reasonably priced. I can vouch for Bay View Pevensey, which does a deal including light lunch for around £12. Eastbourne Golfing Range (Lottridge Road) also has a model railway.

Keys are to be found in a key safe so you can arrive when you like after 3pm and you return them after your holiday before you leave. If you have any problems my house manager lives close by and will be able to sort them out. Her details will be sent with the final instructions.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Deborah (the owner) a message.

If Deborah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
