Getting around

Outside the park on the main road there is a good bus service, going in every direction. Train station is in Eastbourne town centre, or you have Pevensay station in the other direction.

Interaction with guest

Access to the cottage. key is kept in a key safe next to patio doors, you will be sent a code a week before you arrive. You should find a small welcome pack, tea , coffee, milk, and sugar. toiletries . Electric is metered, there will be credit on the meter when you arrive, for top ups can be bought in the office or outside in the machine. We have now bought a trolley for you to transport your bags and shopping from the car to the cottage.

“Lovely home with everything needed”

We had a lovely stay in this very light and lovely home. Location is good with plenty of green space around. Local shops, supermarkets and restaurants at the harbour are nearby with Ganges Indian particularly good with great views. Eastbourne sea front, pier and town centre are just a few minutes drive away. Parking for the property is OK but isn't next to the property as we thought, it is just a short 2 min walk to the car park, but those with walking difficulties might struggle and you may need to do a couple of trips to bring things in and out but once inside it is extremely homely and comfortable with a good layout and a lovely additional sun lounge to sit in. There is a nice feel around the complex and the neighbours are all friendly and helpful. Thanks Vicki for accommodating us and for the little extras. I'm still looking for a similar little pink clock lol. Would definitely recommend.

A bright, impeccably clean, well located and well appointed bungalow. Close to the harbour shops and restaurants, 5 minutes drive from the seaside. A perfect stay for small families.

“Another Fabulous Stay”

This is our second trip to Pebble Cottage. We really appreciated that Vicki is always trying to make things better for her guests with her updates and changes to the cottage. As usual the cottage was immaculately clean, we had a welcome pack, everything we needed was there, it is well equipped. It is conveniently located near to the shops, gas stations, and seafront. We had no problems parking and the weather was lovely. We'll be back for sure!
